* Twilight and Rainbow have this on each other in ''Fanfic/LittleGlimpses'', since it's an AlternateTimeline where they grow up together. Rainbow discovers her love of reading from a much younger age and it extends far beyond just pulp adventure novels, being familiar with both law and medicine due to reading up on it on her free time. Celestia also notes that after a few months of knowing Twilight she's a lot more organized and tidy than she used to be. For Twilight, having an outgoing and social friend from such a young age means that she comes out of her shell much earlier and is overall a lot more social and well-adjusted than she was at the start of the show.

** PlayedWith when it comes to Chloé and Marinette's relationship. Specifically, Chloé sees Marinette as somebody who can help her stay on the straight and narrow path as she seeks to [[MustMakeAmends make amends]] for how much of a SpoiledBrat she used to be. Notably, one of her first takeaways is that she shouldn't [[WantsAPrizeForBasicDecency expect to be rewarded for basic decency]], resulting in her doing good things ''without'' Marinette's knowledge... something that deeply impresses Marinette when she finds out through other means.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheOwlHouse'': Throughout the show, it becomes increasingly clear that [[Characters/TheOwlHouseLuzNoceda Luz Noceda]] has become a good influence on nearly everyone she meets. This is especially prominent with [[Characters/TheOwlHouseAmityBlight Amity Blight]], who mentions in "Escaping Expulsion" that part of the reason why she hangs out with Luz, Willow, and Gus is that they encourage her to be a better person.
