** The Nora are the most classical hunter/gatherers, and thus are proud of their individual strength, contributing to the tribe, and their traditions--especially the tradition of no one being allowed to leave the Sacred Lands. Outsiders (who almost never meet them, since Nora don't leave their lands), view them as primitive savages who practice strange matriarchy rituals. The Nora are actually reasonably gender-equal, though they are a matriarchy because only grandmothers can become leaders. The stereotype is probably exagerrated because their closest neighbors are a patriarchy.

* [[OurAngelsAreDifferent The Sankta race]], which are essentially angels, from ''VideoGame/{{Arknights}}'' have a hat of being obsessed with guns. To further emphasize this obsession, unlike other races, the Sankta race hails universally from the nation of Laterano. This is explained away by being the only nation/race to invent firearms and subsequently formed their entire culture and religion around them. Most playable Sankta characters exhibit are classed as Sniper Operators and/or use guns. The three remaining Sankta Operators who don't use guns in gameplay still have a connection to firearms in their lore. The full extent of their gun quirk is revealed in the nation's spotlight event as bullet shells are legal tender in their economy. Bullet and gun iconography is littered everywhere in signage and interior decoration. Hospital patients regularly play with guns for fun during downtime. The darker side to this are all the gun laws that Sankta must adhere to or suffer the material consequences, non-Sankta who own guns do not have to obey these laws.

* ''VideoGame/HorizonZeroDawn'': Every tribe has its own hat, especially when viewed by the other tribes, but there are also plenty of exceptions.

** The Carja are the biggest tribe in the region, and they are known for one thing above all else: They worship the Sun. Everything they do seems to reference the Sun, or light, or shadow, or something that flies because it's closest to the Sun. Of course, the Carja have developed a more recent stereotype over the past twenty years because they started raiding everyone else for {{Human Sacrifice}}s. The new Sun-King is struggling a lot with shrugging off ''that'' heritage.
** The Oseram love forges, crafting, and alcohol. They're the most technologically advanced tribe, and everyone else largely treats them as nosy annoyances who stick their noses in anything that might be valuable. The Oseram themselves tend to be most aware of their obsession with paperwork and legality; almost every quest with an Oseram has at least a reference to their complex laws and salvage claims.
** The Banuk see themselves as the ultimate survivors, those who live in lands where even the Old Ones feared to tread. They live among the machines and have some limited ability to control them. Everyone else, however, sees them as a bunch of weirdos who run around half-naked in the snow.
** The Tenakth are a ProudWarriorRace who are attempting to ape ancient soldiers; their speech is peppered with references to both winning glory and doing their duty to their fellow soldiers, like any modern military would expect. Other tribes, who don't interact with them much because the Tenakth react violently to incursions, whisper tales of the Tenakth drinking blood and enslaving the children of their enemies.
** The Utaru are peaceful farmers who sing about everything. One of their key virtues is patience, which some among them find frustrating. It's also worth noting that they somehow managed to find peace with the warlike Tenakth who neighbor them. By all appearances, other than a few battles generations ago, they have no problems with each other.
** The Quen are obsessed with the "Legacy," data from ancient devices, and attempt to ape the ways of the Old Ones in everything. While this has made them some of the most technologically advanced people in the world, it's also made them ''weird'' in a few ways that even the Quen themselves notice. Sometimes they look like a bunch of cosplayers.
