* Tednugent, the long-suffering protagonist of InteractiveFiction Fanfic Parody [[http://www.thelittlestmurloc.com You Awaken In Razor Hill]] is repeatedly forced into this trope and this sort of behavior, as a character whose actions were controlled by the whims of the readers of the story. Many of them - MANY of them - chose to Command Ted to do outright moronic things regardless of the severity of any given situation he was in - such as Commanding him to challenge the story's BigBad,[[ImplacableMan Pyramid Hogger]] to a 'yo momma' contest. They are on their nineteenth attempt at having a civilization by the time you meet them, and can ''still'' be easily goaded into attacking more powerful races simply because you suggest it to them. Alternately, they can be goaded into emulating TheThreeStooges.

There is a subtle distinction between StupidEvil and Chaotic Stupid. Sure, the Chaotic Stupid character is also likely to KickTheDog. But he's just as likely to PetTheDog, Shave The Dog, Paint The Dog Purple, or even Ignore The Dog Entirely To Run Off Chasing Butterflies. In short, the 'true' Chaotic Stupid character is the one who thinks that being ChaoticNeutral means being [[CloudCuckoolander batshit insane]]. And by "insane", we mean more [[TinyToonAdventures Gogo Dodo]] and [[Animainiacs the Warner siblings]] than [[SilenceOfTheLambs Hannibal Lecter]].

* Vezon from ''{{Bionicle}}''. He's an insane, AxCrazy CloudCuckooLander GeniusDitz [[YouTalkTooMuch who talks too much]] and suffers from ChronicBackstabbingDisorder and yet he's not powerful enough to pose a serious threat to anyone, so he's generally been PlayedForLaughs for the past few years of the story.

* [[spoiler:Chaos, appropriately enough]], the BigBad of ''EightBitTheatre'', recently took a hard right into this trope. Let's face it, he took an idea from ''Fighter''.

* The Player can commit such an act at the end of Fallout 3's main quest (excluding Broken Steel) by [[spoiler: injecting the modified FEV into the Purifier. This is a [[PhlebotinumBomb biological]] [[WeaponOfMassDestruction weapon]], a class of weapons notoriously unreliable, and FEV in particular has a sordid history of not doing what it was designed to do, and doing things it was NOT designed to do. Injecting the FEV will slowly but inevitably result in an ApocalypseHow Class 5, as the mFEV will eventually kill everything that mutates (which all life does gradually).]]
** The player can get their comeuppance for their chaotic stupidity in Broken Steel, where [[spoiler: drinking the tainted Aqua Pura results in a nasty debuff, and drinking enough results in [[TooStupidToLive death]]. The Player can also blow up the Citadel ForTheEvulz.]]

* Ichijou from PaniPoniDash is ChaoticStupid incarnate. Every time she appears on screen you can almost be certain she'll be doing something completely bizarre, from letting everyone know that she stands (on her desk) for world peace, to rocketing into the stratosphere mid-conversation. Some days she'll help out her fellow classmates, other days she'll be trying to get them killed. Fortunately, this is a GagSeries with heavy emphasis on sight gags, so she's not too out of place.

* Ethan from CtrlAltDel is a good example of this trope, laying heavily on the "Stupid" side. We're supposed to believe he's just a loony genius (that can build SENTIENT ROBOTS OUT OF VIDEO GAME CONSOLE PARTS) with a penchant for zany antics, but bad CharacterDevelopment makes him act more like a retarded, self-righteous and abusive buffoon.

* The Umgah from ''StarControl'' are an entire ALIEN RACE of this trope, having genetically engineered themselves to the point of insanity. Their idea of 'funny pranks' involve invoking wars between evil spiders and hippy bird people, making evil lifeforms sentient, once more thinking it might be fun to have something psychic around, and [[MurderArsonAndJaywalking scaring the crap out of an easily scared race of mollusk things]]. Oh, and they also befriend you, give you ships, and declare war on you, all within the same conversation.
