* The StarWarsExpandedUniverse mentions more than once that Darth Vader's cape streams behind him when he walks. In ''Literature/DeathStar'' a gunner's hand is brushed by the edge of it as Vader passes. In ''Literature/{{Allegiance}}'', Mara Jade can identify him from a distance because of that cape.
