The series started as a WebSerialNovel on the Shōsetsu ni Narō ("Let's Be Novelists") website in March 2019, before being picked up for publication by the Creator/HJBunko label in November that same year. A manga adaptation by Moto Kuromura began on Hobby Japan's Comic Fire website in December 2019, and both the novels and the manga are licensed in English by Creator/JNovelClub as digital releases. Creator/YenPress would secure the license to physically release the light novels and manga adaptation. A two episode mini-anime debuted in November 2020, then in late November 2021 it was announced a full anime series adaptation was in development, which began airing on January 10th, 2023.
