* CreatorCameo: In the 1932 election update, the ending features a ShoutOut to AlternateHistory.com's Retrospective US Presidential Elections threads featuring a within-timeline version of AlternateHistory.com commentators discussing the in-universe 1932 election. One of the commentators goes simply by Ulysses and mentions a timeline they created where [[Film/CitizenKane Charles Foster Kane]] won the presidency in 1932, which is a clear reference to the Fictional History author Ulysses Orbis' own timeline where Kane's real-life inspiration William Randolph Hearst does exactly that.

Added DiffLines:

* ReferenceOverdosed: Every update needs a full list of works of fiction referenced, which can include anything from niche 19th century literature or manga with a cult following to big blockbuster films and widely played video games.
* ShoutOut: It is too hard to list every work of fiction listed, but the 1932 update features a specific reference to the 2014 AlternateHistory.com Retrospective US Presidential Elections threads as well as several {{Expy}}s of well-known members of the website.

What bright spots there are like [[Manga/SailorMoon the second Silver Millennium]] thus ring a bit hollow.
