** According to the show's creators, this is what Baron Ünderbheit was intended to be. While the other villains were, to borrow a quote from Brock, "a bunch of weirdos running around in tights", Ünderbheit was meant to contrast them by being a scary, ruthless, effective, serious and proper evil villain. The issue is his gimmick came off as so overblown it became silly, as his metal jaw and over-the-top dictatorship was goofier than even villains like The Monarch, and a lot of his truly monstrous acts like orphan slave labour never made it into the show. In the end he just became a doofy, unmemorable villain who was particularly hard to write, while other villains like Phantom Limb, Red Death, and even Henchman 21 could more hilariously Bathos be complete jokes AND serious threats in a BunnyEarsLawyer kind of way.

* WesternAnimation/MegasXLR: About every fight Coop partakes in comes with its share of comical moments, that is until at the end of the second season when he encounters Evil Coop, an alternate version of himself that became a ruthless BloodKnight and conqueror. His arrival marked the one time the show took itself seriously, and when Coop tries his usual attack strategy, Evil Coop curb-stomps him in seconds and actually destroys Megas in the process.

* WesternAnimation/MyAdventuresWithSuperman: Nemesis Omega is first witnessed by Superman through a showing of the past when he leads an attack on the military's camp that is played deadly serious, with several on-screen casualties. It also puts a whole new perspective on why the General and Waller are willing to go to such lengths to detain Superman, who also experiences a HeroicBSOD upon seeing that Nemesis Omega is also a Kryptonian.
