** In the song "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VM-Tebw5pTA&t=45s Come to Me Again]]", the Lestat hallucination accuses his ex-partner Louis of being romantically involved with Armand simply because he's feeling sad and lonely without Lestat: "You only want him 'cause you're feeling blue."

** It's evident in the letter that Lestat left for Louis as part of his will that the former regards the latter as his soul mate. Lestat considers being separated from Louis to be worse than death itself, and in flowery language, he affirms that even beyond the grave, he'll continue to love Louis with all of his heart.

Louis scrunches his face tightly right after the vision of his ex-lover says "you are the only being I trust," and it's plain that Louis can barely contain the urge to cry because it turns out that Lestat ''can't'' trust him because Louis attempted to murder Lestat six years prior.

** In the sixth episode, the final shot of Daniel's memory of how he first met Louis in 1973 at Polynesian Mary's is Rashid, who hasn't aged in 49 years, declining Louis' invitation to join him and Daniel at Louis' San Francisco apartment. In 2022, Daniel jolts awake, alarmed with "WTF?!" written all over his face because he realizes that Rashid is ''not'' a normal human being.
** In the ninth episode, when Louis demands to know what Alice said when Daniel proposed to her, instead of remembering his girlfriend, Daniel mentally pictures Armand in what is presumably a memory from his past. This begs the question of why Daniel is getting Alice and Armand mixed up in his mind.

By the middle of episode 6, Antoinette is living in a run-down motel and does not seem to have a job or social contact with anyone other than Lestat. * SarcasticConfession:
** In 1973 scene of the sixth episode, Louis deadpans "I'm a vampire" to Daniel, who grins in amusement because he thinks it's just a joke because (as far as he knows) vampires are fictional creatures, and being a journalism student means that he's being trained to be skeptical of people's responses. The vampire Louis [[LaughOfLove laughs at Daniel's cute reaction]] (he's flirting with the [[PrettyBoy attractive young man]], after all), which further cements Daniel's belief that he shouldn't take the vampire comment seriously.
** In the ninth episode, Santiago essentially admits to the human spectators at the ''Théâtre des Vampires'' that the actors are vampires, they murder people on stage, and HumansAreBastards. However, the audience simply assumes that his statement is part of the performance.

--->"In the event that you are reading this, something dreadful has occurred. Which is not my own death, that rather the fact that we both now exist in two different worlds. Do not waste your life seeking revenge on the person or persons who did this. Do not give them the satisfaction of the hunt. Let treachery eat away at them from within. And you, you go carry on with your living. Know only this, ''mon cher'', you are the only being I trust and whom I love above and beyond myself. All my love belongs to you. You are its keeper. A veil will now forever separate our union, but it is a thin veil and I'm always on the other side, face pressed up against your longing. Lestat de Lioncourt."
