** Frollo claims to be a holy man of the cloth doing God's work, but nothing he ever does demonstrates any of the SevenHeavenlyVirtues. In fact, he's practically the embodiment of the Sins of {{Lust}}, {{Pride}} and [[HairTriggerTemper Wrath]]. He declares an assault on holy ground, injures the Archdeacon by throwing the old man down the stairs when he [[YoureInsane tries to protest]], and earlier makes the blasphemous statement that God made the Devil.

* ''WesternAnimation/Nimona2023'': [[spoiler:The Director claims that she killed the queen and framed Ballister for it to keep the traditions alive and to protect the kingdom, even though queenslaughter is in itself a much worse way to break the traditions, since the queen is supposed to be untouchable from any danger, so her gesture counts as treason. Furthermore, killing a ruler is a good way to bring chaos to the people of the kingdom, which goes against her claims to save them.]]

* ''WesternAnimation/RalphBreaksTheInternet'': [[spoiler:Towards the end of the film, Vanellope rips Ralph for selfishly putting in a virus in ''Slaughter Race'' and goes as far as [[KickTheDog throwing away the homemade medal she personally made for him]] in the first movie. While she has some right to be angry, Vanellope is still ignoring the fact she's the one who accidentally broke her own game, ''Sugar Rush'' (and very nearly doomed all the racers), due to her own selfishness.]]

*** When Shrek intervenes Charming's second kiss at the ball, Godmother comes in and accuses him of not leaving well enough alone. She's the one who's doing her best to interfere in true love, to begin with.
*** She hates ogres and she doesn't believe that they should get happily ever afters, but she has no problem with her son marrying and getting a happily ever after with a princess who is technically part ogre. This just proves that she's okay with ogres only if they benefit her in a way.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{The Hunchback of Notre Dame|Disney}}'': Judge Claude Frollo is an infamous example, as this is his defining flaw. He is a HolierThanThou Bible-thumper who is utterly convinced of his piousness all while committing sin after sin [[ChurchgoingVillain in God's name]] and [[NeverMyFault blaming others for his problems]] via PsychologicalProjection. He frequently lies to Quasimodo saying gypsies are an AlwaysChaoticEvil race and that his gypsy mother abandoned him, when in reality Frollo is trying to commit genocide on the gypsies and he's the one who murdered Quasimodo's mother in cold blood. Frollo is also a hypocrite when it comes to his chasteness, since despite seemly reacting in [[SexIsEvil disgust]] to Esmeralda's risque dance he becomes completely enthralled with lust for her and becomes furious with Quasimodo for falling in love with Esmeralda despite him also wanting her. Frollo's hypocrisy is best summed by Clopin during the film intro song:

* ''WesternAnimation/Shrek2'': Fiona's father, King Harold, wasn't keen on her daughter marrying the titular character, who was an ogre. At the end of the film, when he performed a HeroicSacrifice to save Shrek from the Fairy Godmother, the spell on him was removed, revealing his true form to be a small green frog. Though when Donkey calls him out on it, [[HypocrisyNod he doesn't deny it]].

*** Woody calls his friends selfish for donating themselves to Sunnyside when he himself was selfish regarding [[WesternAnimation/ToyStory his jealousy of Buzz being Andy's favorite toy]] and even similarly [[WesternAnimation/ToyStory2 considered going to Japan with the Roundup toys instead of staying with Andy.]]
