*** Of particular note was [[https://youtu.be/wNBz6fdULmc his bringing her into the barn to watch a rat drown in a mop bucket]]. He's downright gleeful about it, as the rats have been eating their grain and pooping in their cupboards, but Billie is ''horrified'' and begs him to help it. Just as the rat starts to sink, B.J. kicks the bucket over, with the rat starting to breathe after a bit of a delay. On that day, Billie taught B.J. that GoodFeelsGood, and likely pulled him completely away from his father's influence.

* When BJ gets out of the Roswell underground, he holds up a Nazi soldier, takes his keys and gun and then instead of killing him like you might expect, just tells him to run. While he might have just done it because he knew the man was going to die in the bomb blast, it's nice to think that as much as BJ hates the Nazis, he still won't stoop to their level and murder an unarmed soldier.

* In the previous installment, Max was more or less just there, occasionally doing menial tasks at the behest of Klaus but otherwise preferred to keep to himself. In this game. Max is a much more active member of the resistance, even going on field missions. He took his adoptive father's words to heart, and saw the strength in himself to help others.

* After BJ's recovery while Set is giving him a diagnosis, Max walks into the room and sees BJ standing, healthy and well. Max immediately rushes to BJ's side and hugs him. Given all the people Max has lost up to that point, it must have been the greatest thing to the big lug to see at least one friend back [spoiler: from the dead.]]

** A small one with Max, who immediately runs up to BJ when he sees the latter up and well. Considering the amount of people the poor guy has befriended and lost within the past year, it's really heartwarming to see him so happy.

* If you look closely at the cover art, amid the burned-out wreckage of Manhattan and the Nazi banners (even if they do [[NoSwastikas just sport the W logo]], you can still clearly tell what they are supposed to be), you can see an American flag. It's tattered, sure, but it's an American flag, and it's still flying. Even with Manhattan ''nuked'' and symbols of evil everywhere, the spirit of America lives on, and with BJ and company igniting a second American Revolution, it's set to return with a vengeance.

* BJ visiting his family home is mostly a tearjerker, ''especially'' when it involves [[CompleteMonster Rip Blazkowicz]]. However, the man did do one thing right - when Billy was suffering from night terrors, dreaming of monsters coming to kill his mother, Rip hands him a BB gun and goes down to the basement to hunt them down, allowing Billy to rest easy.
