Despite Jin not staying true to his word about help save his master's life in exchange for working under him during ''6'', Eddy does not hold it against him. Jin, in turn, gives his condolences regarding the loss of his master and Eddy will actually tell Jin (if he wins) that they can move forward together.

* Following his failed attempt to stop Kazuya Lars and Jin spar to gauge the latter's recovery. Following their sparring session, Jin is out of breath and exhausted, and Lars approaches him with a worried look on his face. After Lee provides his feedback, Lars asks him to show him his Devil power, catching and holding Jin up when he almost collapses after failing to summon his power.

** On their trip to Yakushima, they even talk about dreams, with Xiaoyu talking about how she wants to make an Amusement Park. While Jin may not have a dream of his own, he is shown to be fully supportive of her dream, even giving her a ''genuine'' smile in the process.

** Xiaoyu's over the moon when she sees Jin's smile, and he tells her that he wouldn't mind supporting her dream.

** Jin 's eyes widen ever so slightly when he hears Xiaoyu tell him that she's always loved him.

** Xiaoyu's love for Jin, and her determination to protect him from the army of Jack 7's. It's one thing to face and fight an army of Jacks as part of a team, but to face an entire horde of Jack 7's on her own with only Panda as her backup - despite the odds stacked against her while not knowing when Jin will wake up - is proof of the strength of ThePowerOfLove.
** An already exhausted, yet determined Xiaoyu - who has her back turned - doesn't notice a Jack 7 about to attack her until the last moment. Lars arrives in time to pull a BigDamnHeroes moment, saving her from the said attack, and Xiaoyu smiles in relief and gratitude. She asks him to help her buy enough time to allow Jin to wake up, and Lars agrees without hesitation.
** Lars is exhausted, weakened, and on the verge of defeat against True Devil Kazuya, but is still determined to fight. When Kazuya sends out a fatal blast that is sure to kill him, Lars, instead of dodging to save his life, is determined to protect his unconscious nephew, and stands his ground. He survives when Jin, in his new Devil Form pulls a BigDamnHeroes moment by saving him at the last second.

** Jin manages to catch an exhausted and injured Xiaoyu when she stumbles, and if one looks close enough, his expression when he saw her fall is one of concern; when she holds his hand, he reciprocates the gesture.
