* Granted it's in desperate circumstances, but the hugs between Nick and Trubel in 'Zerstorer Shrugged' and 'The End' show just much these characters love and respect each other, after a rocky start and everything they've been through.

* In "The Son Also Rises," after Juliette is [[spoiler:hospitalized after falling unconscious due to supernatural occurrences,]] Nick takes the day off and leaves the investigation to Hank and Wu so he can check up on her, and doesn't leave the room until [[spoiler:she regains consciousness.]] There are visible tears in his eyes as he watches over her, showing that despite their tragic history, he still cares about her a great deal. This is punctuated by the way he says ''Juliette'' instead of Eve as he leaves for the hospital.

* Nick, who has so far tried hard to stick to LawfulGood, protecting the woman who tried to kill his aunt and rarely doing more than stretch the truth to hide the supernatural elements of his investigation that he can't explain, drives Ian Harmon to the bus station and gives him back his forged documents rather than arrest him for a justified but cold-blooded murder he just saw him commit--because it's the only way to protect his friends Rosalee and Monroe.

* In the same vein as the above, "One Angry Fuchsbau" has a Ziegevolk lawyer who has just lost a court case because of Rosalee, only to run into her later in the spice shop, as well as Monroe. The Ziegevolk tries to attack her, so what does Monroe do? ''[[CrowningMomentOfAwesome He picks the lawyer up and throws him into the spice cabinet.]]'' Nick actually had to pull Monroe off of him to make him stop, so it goes without saying that you do not mess with Rosalee around him.

** Also touching is the interactions between Team Grimm when they arrive at the hotel to celebrate Monroe's birthday-after seasons of mistrust, keeping secrets, and the tangled knot that is Adalind/Nick/Juliette, all their past problems are put aside. Its rare for the show to have everybody together when they're not dealing with one threat or problem of some sort.

* In the premiere, Nick manages to find Adalind, and the first thing they do upon reuniting is passionately kiss each other. Adalind then takes Nick upstairs to their son, where the two savor the moment, like a family. Clearly, they've come a long way from being mortal enemies.

* "Blind Love" gives two examples-the first is Renard and Diana's interactions-at this point in the series Renard has done some dark things, and isn't particularly happy with any aspect of his life, except his daughter. Its extra touching due to how normal the situation is and how not normal the characters are-incredibly powerful Diana and morally conflicted Renard.
