** Also on her route, after a misunderstanding causes Ranpha to think Tact isn't interested in her and she locks herself in her room to cry, Tact brings back the diary she gave him and decides that, if he can't write his feelings for her, he will say them out loud. He proceeds to say all the things he likes about Ranpha and shouts out loud that he loves her and wants to be with her.

* On every route, before heading off to the Val-Rundal system for the final battle, Tact and his chosen Angel share a scene with Lushati, who wants to apologize to them for all the trouble she (unwittingly) caused for their relationship, as well as the fact that [[spoiler:she can't bring herself to hate Wein despite everything he did]]. Tact and his girlfriend assure her that there's nothing to apologize for, and they're actually grateful for it because, [[spoiler:through Wein's sacrifice]], they realized that perhaps not everyone among the Valfask are evil, and now they're determined to win the war not to wipe them out, but to save them so they can coexist in peace one day. The sequel proves their hope was not misplaced.

* Tact and Lester have come a long way since their patrol fleet duties from the first game. While Lester's chastising of Tact has become commonplace, the two take a small moment before leaving for the Val-Vaross system to reflect how far they've gotten together and how they got each other's back. Lester is actually impressed enough with how love motivates Tact so much that he off-handedly mentions that he wouldn't mind trying it out one day.

* The PS2 re-release of Eternal Lovers came packaged with a few extra CGs, particularly three CGs for Almo and Coco finally getting some attention as well as Dr. Cera and the engineers.
** The PS2 version also got a brand new song for its ending, titled Endless Prelude. A song so passionate that the singer, Hiromi Sato, apparently cried during and after recording.
!Galaxy Angel II Zettai Ryōiki no Tobira
* When Tact reunites with whoever was chosen as his wife after respective duties kept them from seeing each other for a bit. Each Angel gets her own romantic CG depending on which Angel is Tact's wife. Milfeulle and Tact hold hands, Ranpha affectionately touches Tact's lip while the both of them scream at the top of their lungs how much they love each other ("Darling!" "My honey!"), Mint goes for a combination "hug/holding hands" and she lays her head on Tact's chest, Forte hugs Tact, Vanilla rushes into Tact's outstretched arms while looking up at him and smiling, and Chitose hugs Tact and lays her head on Tact's shoulder/neck. This is kind of a meta-example, though: it is ''extremely rare'' for a romantic couple in a franchise to cover the gradual development of the romantic relationship, and then cover their married life in the future, and then portray this married life positively, like Tact and the Angel's love for each other has not faded with marriage.
* The scenes leading up to Kazuya and Apricot's kiss.
** Kazuya's date with Rico has its ups and downs. The two have a fun time together such as accidentally tripping on each other and lying on a rather compromising position. Later, when an accident causes Rico to throw two men trying to hit on her a considerable distance from the shore, Kazuya goes to retrieve them. However, a third man tries to hit on her and she launches him too, only for him to land on Kazuya and knock him out. Kazuya passes out and later finds himself back on the shore with a remorseful Rico with tears in her eyes. Later still in the route, some misunderstandings creates a small rift between the two but when push comes to shove, Kazuya places himself between Rico and danger. When Kazuya awakens, he is greeted by Mordent in the Med-Bay who promptly contacts Rico of Kazuya's recovery and she runs over. Mordent excuses himself and Kazuya and Rico confront each other about the incident. Rico says that she has three things to address. First, she thanks him deeply for keeping her out of harm's way. Second, she apologizes for causing the situation to escalate the way it did. Lastly, she is mad at him for thinking that she was showing interest in another person. She corrects him, saying that she was simply too embarrassed about her growing affection toward him and started avoiding him. She was trying to test her theory that her reaction to Kazuya being able to make physical contact with her was not simply because he reminded him of her sister, but because she truly loved him and was able to force her body to make that exception consciously.
** Rico offers to return the favor with any request he has in mind. Kazuya says he simply did what he needed to do but Rico insists for him to make a request of her, and she goes further in telling him that she won't take light requests like getting him a drink. Kazuya, thinking to intimidate her into calming down, requests for her to join him on his infirmary bed. Much to his complete bewilderment, Rico agrees and the two stare at each other before Rico reveals that she was the one who resuscitated him after the accident at the beach. At first she thought nothing of it in order to save his life but after the fact, she began to worry about it a lot. She offers to make it up to him with a proper first kiss.
** Immediately following the kiss, Rico starts calling Kazuya by his first name, after only managing to call him Shiranami-san before hand.
* The dynamic is switched in Lily's route where Lily's inexperience with social etiquette has her be the one to make a faux pas in the relationship that ends up hurting Kazuya instead. After taking a commemorative photo of their resort excursion, Lily carelessly throws away said photo after Kazuya tells her to keep it instead after it arrives in the mail. Lily consults Tact who pins the blame solely on Lily to figure out and she then seeks Rico for guidance and then the weight of her actions finally hit her. Vowing to fix the situation, Lily descends to the bowels of the Luxiole to find the photo in the garbage disposal. The rest of the Angel Wing appears to join her and later, Kazuya opens the door to his comrades covered in trash. Lily steps forward to right her wrongs, apologize, declares her love for Kazuya, and pulls him in for a kiss.
* Kahlua's route has Kazuya win over Kahlua quite easily, as they seal their relationship with a kiss during their vacation. Kazuya however realizes that being in a relationship with Kahlua means romancing Tequila as well and he makes a concerted effort to properly convey his interest in her as well by not only inviting her to dinner, which he cooked, but also made an entire cake for her with the words "I love you" written on them.
* When Anise loses her hair ornaments on her vacation with Kazuya, Kazuya decides to take the shiny blue rock he found on the beach to fashion her a new pair. A sleepless Kazuya finishes his project and ends up falling asleep on one of the lobby's tables, only to wake up and see Anise already wearing them. Anise accepts them with gratitude but she thinks nothing of the act until her heart begins to thump and she has no idea what to do with herself. Things get so bad that she consults Dr. Mordent personally about her shifting attitude towards Kazuya and Mordent laughs at how shockingly maidenly Anise seems right now. Anise yells at him to stop teasing her and when Mordent finally helps resolve what she fears, Anise is overcome with an urge to respond back to Kazuya's actions. Anise is however unable to convey her emotions properly when confronted with the man himself and as Kazuya starts to walk away, Anise dive-kicks him to the wall, picks him back up, and kisses him properly. Still at odds with her own emotions though, she runs away soon after.
!Galaxy Angel II Mugen Kairo no Kagi
* Kazuya shares a hug with his chosen Angel near the beginning of the game after the Angel in question checks if nobody is around. The way in which each of the girls comes to value Kazuya all have some heartwarming qualities
** For Rico, she flat out states that Kazuya should be more confident with himself as she considers him "the most important person" to her. Going as far as to say that she loves him more than she loves her sister, which is quite a statement coming from her.
** For Lily, who almost seems to be feeling up Kazuya's rear in the CG, remarks that she holds him in more regard than her loyalties to her empire and king. This is coming from the former captain of the imperial guard.
** Nano similarly says she loves Kazuya more than she loves Vanilla, her adoptive mother.
** Kahlua and Tequila both respectively admit, albeit in the next game, that they hold Kazuya closer to their heart than they do for each other.
** Anise has a hard time getting this across, especially in front of the others, but she holds Kazuya has her most prized treasure. The few times Anise gets really soft-spoken and has Kazuya take the lead are all incredibly nice changes of pace to their usual dynamic.
!Galaxy Angel II Eigou Kaiki no Toki
* In the earliest free roam segment, Kazuya can visit Natsume's room and make a choice to practice for an instrumental session with her in the near future. This isn't brought up again until six chapters later when visiting Natsume's room again has her remind him of his promise and tells him to bring his guitar over. The play a rendition of her theme together in a completely missable two-part free roam sequence.
** If Kazuya romanced Natsume in the particular playthrough, she will play him the same song while he undergoes a medical check-up.
* The personal backstories for the Rune Angel Wing
** Rico, after much pain endured by the male crewmembers of both the Elsior and Luxiole, is able to get over the fear of males to the point where she can voluntarily control her bursts of strength, further contextualized into being intense mental calculations to optimize her body movements. All through remembering that her trauam ended on the memory of her sister gifting her the hairpins she currently wears.
** Nano's chapter has the team recover an ancient console that had quite a breadth of information regarding the experimental logs that eventually reveal that [[spoiler:Nano's DNA and Vanilla's DNA are actually similar, suggesting that someone in Vanilla's family line visited the facility eons ago, making them true family.]] Lily is so moved that she starts crying and collides with the wall.
** Anise's backstory sheds light on her upbringing as well as her surprising lineage that implicates her to be [[spoiler: old royalty.]] Anise's parents passed away when she was young and her caretaker, Kelvin, heard her parents' last words to raise Anise to become a strong individual but also having her find a place to belong with many companions. Anise never heard a word of this and was kicked out her home planet by Kelvin who wanted her to toughen up properly. Kelvin regretted this decision for many years until reuniting with her and saw that she grew into the person that her parents hoped her to be, and with a place to belong to boot within the Rune Angel Wing. Anise herself has conflicted feelings about Kelvin as she is grateful that she was able to become strong and independent due to his decisions but also has some resentment toward him for kicking her out in the first place. In the scene where they finally reconcile, Kelvin reveals her parents' wish and apologizes for being so distant to her. Anise starts to cry and it gets worse when Kevlin says he is proud of her and her parent's would be too.
** Lily's family backstory gains a degree of seriousness when it is revealed that she is a [[spoiler: half-breed. While her father is a proper Seldarian noble, her mother is a member of the Red-Eye Tribe, a tribe of people who once waged war against the kingdom in ages past. The tribes people are not looked at in a positive light by the rest of Seldar's society and extremist groups preach about eliminating them. Seldar's King Soldum however promises her that the Red-Eye Tribe are still an indispensable part of Seldar's history and vows to protect them. A significant declaration for Lily especially with the introduction of her mother.]]
* Kahlua's Route in particular speaks volumes of how much Kahlua values Kazuya.
** A mishap with the nanomachine infant found on Femto causes Tequila to manifest in a body separate from Kahlua. While the situation is treated rather amicability, with the two personalities finally getting to actually see one another like this and Kazuya getting to enjoy the embrace of two women, Tequila's assertive personality begins to monopolize Kazuya's attention. This reaches a point where it's time to have Tequila "return" into Kahlua's mind but the latter flat out refuses to reunite with Tequila in favor of being separate and wanting all of Kazuya's attention herself. Remember that for most of Kahlua's life, any time she switched to Tequila, her consciousness would basically "go to sleep" while the opposite was not true for Tequila, who was consciousness even when she was not the active personality. This memory issue is resolved by the time this problem occurs but Kahlua exclaims that she wants to make memories with herself and Kazuya that are solely hers and not share them with Tequila if they happen to reunite. The primary target of her vehemence however is at herself as she is utterly disgusted at the mere thought of seeing Tequila in a negative light. For most of her life she viewed Tequila as someone she greatly admired, was basically her other half, and someone she aspired to be like. The very notion of rejecting Tequila has Kahlua begin a tearful tirade of self-loathing at how selfish and unbecoming she is to deserve either Tequila and Kazuya's kindness. When the reunification occurs, Tequila promptly takes over, hugs Kazuya, and pleads for him to understand that this was entirely due to Kahlua's feelings for Kazuya being so strong as prefer him over Tequila.
* The Rune Angel Wing's reactions to hearing of [[spoiler:Kazuya's death at the hands of the Will.]] Even when the other 5 Angels weren't romanced, each truly cared for him in their own way. Also doubles as a Tearjerker.
** Rico tries to get some work done to get the news off of her mind but she continues to make mistakes taking stock of supplies in the storage room and eventually falls to her knees in tears.
** Lily wordlessly cleans her blade in the confines of her room. She inspects it once with her face reflected on the blade. She cleans it again and the second time has her reflection with a single trail of tears running down her face.
** Nano doesn't take the news well in the slightest and is already crying her eyes out by the fountain in the park trying to process the news.
** Tequila is angrily casting destructive spells annihilating her lab only for Kahlua to forcibly switch back and freeze the conflagration before it spreads beyond the room.
** Anise plays the punching bag game and only lightly taps the bag before letting out a scream and kicking the bag so hard it falls off the machine.
** Natsume tries her hardest to try and get herself over the news by watching cartoons in the Theater before her laughs turn into tears.
* Before the final battle, Kazuya and his chosen Angel share a unique sprite where his Angel runs into his arms and hugs him so hard that they both fall, all the while tearfully saying his name. Understandable as a only around an hour ago, Kazuya [[spoiler:was declared dead]]

Kahlua however instantly regrets even having the notion of rejecting Tequila and begins a tirade of self-loathing at how selfish and unbecoming she is to deserve either Tequila and Kazuya's kindness. When the reunification occurs, Tequila promptly takes over, hugs Kazuya, and pleads for him to understand that this was entirely due to Kahlua's feelings for Kazuya being so strong as prefer him over Tequila.

Kazuya passes out and later finds himself back on the shore with a remorseful Rico with tears in her eyes who reveals that she resuscitated him and was really distraught over losing their first kiss this way.

Much to his complete bewilderment, Rico agrees and the two stare at each other before Rico brings up wanting to make up for their accidental first kiss with a proper one.

Much to his complete bewilderment, Rico agrees and the two stare at each other before Rico brings up wanting to make up for their mistake of a first kiss with a proper one.

No This Troper comments, lads.

A lot like this Troper's own parents, actually.

* Any time that Tact gets an opportunity to act like the "perfect boyfriend"/Mr. Right he wants to be, and fix everything like a hero (understandably, the male fans might find this one more heartwarming than the female fans would, but these are specifically moments where Tact's a good role model for us men to follow if we seriously want to pursue relationships). I'm including this because the list is surprisingly large, and the very largeness of the list demonstrates exactly why each Angel could possibly be attracted to Tact in the first place:
** When he shows he's willing to put up with all sorts of random crap just to make Milfeulle feel like she's not completely bad luck.
** In Ranpha's route, managing to do the impossible and buy Ranpha a pair of shoes that aren't for sale, and then doing the impossible ''again'' by managing to salvage Ranpha's evening despite the shoes she herself demanded being too big and Ranpha feeling like she personally ruined everything.
** In Mint's route, by the skin of his wits and by his love for Mint, he manages to [[spoiler: rescue Mint from being imprisoned in her own home by her father, ''and'' repair a father-daughter relationship that had been estranged for ''years'', in one single {{BigDamnHeroes}} scene]].
** The manner in which he deals with Vanilla's agony and grief after [[spoiler: her beloved pet rabbit, Ugiugi in the Japanese version and Bunbun in Aroduc's translation, dies]] is near saintlike; he says all the right things, manages to deal with all of Vanilla's underlying demons in the space of a few minutes, and is completely respectful to what is essentially the death of a pet. Vanilla's reaction to his handling of the situation is to ask him if they could stay "like this" (holding each other) a while longer. That's right, by virtue of his sheer niceness, Tact managed to get a 13-year-old girl from sobbing her eyes out over [[spoiler: the death of a pet]] to shyly asking to prolong a hug. Even if this weren't a ''romantic'' route per se, and it is, the scene would still be heartwarming even if Vanilla was just Tact's sister or daughter or something.
** In Galaxy Angel Moonlit Lovers, intentionally making a ''complete ass'' of himself by dressing up in a Ranpha-fanboy-outfit and doing an extremely corny love cheer, just to prove to Ranpha that a), he's not in love with Chitose, and b), he's perfectly willing to keep up with Ranpha's fast pace and romantic over-enthusiasm if that's what it takes to love her.
** Clearing up Chitose's trauma over her deceased father in a single scene so she won't pointlessly sacrifice herself against Nefuria in the GA-007 and so Chitose will allow Tact to be with her.
** In Galaxy Angel Eternal Lovers, risking his life to save Ranpha from a burning building by catching her as she jumps, [[spoiler: which permanently erases Ranpha's previous traumatic reflex of striking Tact whenever he touched her]].
** In Mint's Eternal Lovers route, Screaming "I LOVE MINT!!!!!!!!!" into the Elsior's loudspeaker at the top of his lungs so everyone in the entire ship can hear him, and then launching into a loud speech about how much he loves Mint, how much he wants to hold her close, and kiss her all day long, and all of that just to wake Mint from an "exhaustion coma" caused by her romantic turmoil. It works, although Mint at first gets pissed off at Tact for saying embarrassing things like that for the whole ship to hear, but Tact was clearly willing to pay the price of Mint being mad at Tact for a few minutes to make sure Mint's all right.

Then he tops himself a ''third'' time (although this one's not stated directly, the player has to make an inference) because when he gives Vanilla an engagement ring, her ''name'' is engraved on it. That means Tact can't take this ring back to the store because it technically counts as "damaged," his commitment is permanent, despite Vanilla's still-too-young-age. Clearly Tact is willing to wait.
** After a lot of false attempts, Tact and Lester finally manage to figure out a way to break Chitose of her delusion that she loves Lester. It turns out they had to do it in stages (Tact and the Angels were trying all-at-once zany schemes before like writing love letters and romantic re-enactments); first Lester has to explain to Chitose that he's not her boyfriend, and then Tact has to finally bite the bullet and do something he's been avoiding out of sheer nerves: tell Chitose flat-out, to her face, that he loves her and wants her to go out with him. That doesn't really seem very heartwarming, but it does reflect Tact's usual tendency to be willing to put himself out on a limb for the woman he loves.

There's no "kiss scene" in that spot with Ranpha, Mint, or Forte, but their scenes are just as heartwarming: Ranpha doesn't get a CG but the conversation is romantic, Mint allows Tact to lay his head in her lap, and Forte and Tact converse about their future over drinks. This moment, whether kiss or conversation or laying down or drinks, is even more heartwarming considering that in Eternal Lovers, [[EarnYourHappyEnding Tact had to go through hell just to prevent his relationship with chosen Angel from ending for good]]. It takes a second for Ranpha to get it, but the only way her siblings could be Tact's future in-laws is if Ranpha married Tact. There's no formal marriage proposal in Mint's, Forte's, or Chitose's routes (Mint and Forte just kind of take it for granted that they'll be together forever with Tact and that that implies marriage, although Mint is much more affectionate about it than Forte, and Chitose's romantic relationship started really late since they didn't even ''officially'' "get together" until the third game, so Tact and Chitose end up starting to date instead, but they still end up married by Galaxy Angel II).
* In the first Galaxy Angel II videogame, when Tact reunites with whoever was chosen as his wife after respective duties kept them from seeing each other for a bit. A lot like this Troper's own parents, actually.

** In Galaxy Angel Eternal Lovers, screaming "I LOVE MINT!!!!!!!!!" into the Elsior's loudspeaker at the top of his lungs so everyone in the entire ship can hear him, and then launching into a loud speech about how much he loves Mint, how much he wants to hold her close, and kiss her all day long, and all of that just to wake Mint from an "exhaustion coma" caused by her romantic turmoil. It works, although Mint at first gets pissed off at Tact for saying embarrassing things like that for the whole ship to hear, but Tact was clearly willing to pay the price of Mint being mad at Tact for a few minutes to make sure Mint's all right.

** Later in the same route, managing to find Mint buried in rubble and rescuing her after they had an argument over Mint's emotional shyness and sudden distance, by managing to hear Mint's voice when no one else could. Another [[BigDamnHeroes]] example, just like in Mint's route from the first game.
