Lem had just found out that he had to [[spoiler: give up the scouts]] and then the scene changes to Lem heading out to Dedication day, and finds that [[spoiler: the ENTIRE town has set up a town-wide holiday event in honor of the man who set up the Boy Scouts in their little town and helped give their boys a wholesome place where they could spend time learning life skills and lessons, bringing them all closer than ever, inviting not only the past scout groups that are all grown up, but the first group and the flipping governor (who was one of his scouts back in the first group).]] To top it off, the movie ends with [[spoiler: the governor fulfilling a long time dream of Lem's by bestowing upon him an honorary law degree, something he had always wanted, but had to put aside to make time for the scouts]]
