* There is a rare chance for a puppy to spawn next to the church in Albero which the Penitent One can go out of his way to [[VideoGameCaringPotential bestow with pets]] as many times as he likes. Not only is it adorable, but the dog can even grant a small unit of healing for each petting. Furthermore, a developer anniversary stream mentioned it was supposedly modelled after the deceased dog of one of the devs.

* Upon reaching The Resting Place of the Sister, should Esdras still be alive, Perpetva will reveal to the Penitent One that the their fight was not against her, but rather an image of her without her voice or soul, created by the Grievous Miracle. Given how driven by it her brother is, she begs the Penitent One to take her Incomplete Scapular to shatter the Grievous Miracle's hold on Esdras. What does the relief on it say?

** The fact that the love between Esdras and Perpetva is enough to make Esdras take a HeelFaceTurn and begin unravelling the High Wills is worth mentioning. ThePowerOfLove at it's finest.

* The Order of the Kissers of Wounds in Albero are a prominent example of this; despite the living nightmare that their world has become, there are still those who will tend the wounded and the sick. The Miracle even seems to approve of their work, having granted them the power to [[HealingHands heal the wounds and sores of the suffering by kissing them]]. This is one of the only (if not ''the only'') times the Miracle grants a prayer without inflicting horrible agonies on the supplicant.

** It's a small thing, but when the Penitent One arrives at the Resting Place of the Sister, he kneels and prays for the soul of this person he has never known.

* The entire quest to restore Tentudia's body so she may be buried. Chucked into a nunnery by her parents, betrayed by her sisters in the nunnery, and her body scattered so that her soul was BarredFromTheAfterlife, all because the Grievous Miracle gave her thorned hair... and the Penitent One, who has bigger things to worry about, still takes the time from his quest to find all of her remains and give them to Lvdovico so that she may receive her last rites, showing her kindness in death that no one did in life. The game itself seems to [[KarmicJackpot agree]] with the general rightness of this act; doing this sidequest rewards the player with the [[PillarOfLight Debla of the Lights]] [[InfinityPlusOneSword prayer]].

* In the new true ending, the Twisted One is finally freed of his fate; he reaches out from his stake with one ruined arm to the Penitent One, and seems grateful as he finally fades away in peace. One wonders how awful his existence has been since the High Wills trapped him in that agonizing state.

Despite everything, there is some good left in the world of Blasphemous.

* Likewise, the Order of the True Burial, which seeks to make sure that the dead of Blasphemous may pass, peacefully, to the other side of the Dream. It's nice to see someone take DueToTheDead so seriously in a setting where they might be forgiven for just tossing the corpses aside.
* In a bizarre way, killing Ten Piedad is this once you read the lore and realize that there was a person trapped in that monster; killing the beast, while it does kill the man, at least [[MercyKill frees him.]]
