** They're not the same boys. There's a war on. That means lots of orphans.

** Obvious sequel hook, we were supposed to leave the theater asking exactly that, how James Hook and Peter Pan went from best buddies to bitter friends. The movie flopped hard and won't generate any sequels, so the answer to that question is lost.

** I'm not sure. I assume that Wendy would have only appeared in the climax, setting up the real story of Peter Pan. In the original book, Neverland is created by her stories that she tells to her brothers - so maybe that was the ending they were going for. And they'd planned several films, so presumably Wendy would have featured in them. But with this being such a bomb, obviously that put a kibosh on those plans.

* I know Hook becomes the villian, but how? I mean he gets the ultimate happy ending. He gets the girl, has a purpose, and good friends to boot. What could possibly go wrong might be tempting fate, but it still dosent make sense to me.

** There is some merit to this in the original books. Pan frequently changes sides during fights between the Lost Boys and pirates, just to liven things up.

** They were intending to make this a franchise, with about six films planned. Presumably they didn't want to go down the route of ''Film/OzTheGreatAndPowerful'' by turning one of their future villains evil right away.

* Leni Zieglmeier was supposed to play Wendy Darling. What happened?!

** Apparently, he doesn't. It was meant to be a "twist on the traditional Peter Pan story."

** Because the constant stream of Peter Pan prequels seem to think they're being really clever by having Pan and Hook as friends, because it supposedly makes it all the more poignant (or something) when they inevitably turn against each other.

* Why isn't Blackbeard Hook ? He displays many characteristics that would perfectly fit the character of Hook, and even says Hook's common line of "Good Form", and yet Hook here is just in-name only who suffers from AdaptionalHeroism and who is upgraded to Tiger Lily's love interest.
