** The Dilophpsaurus was in part of the tour where the visitors were in a sealed vehicle so it's bright colouring and venom spitting would be a good show rather than any danger. The Troodon are nocturnal, meaning they won't be out while the tours are taking place so there's no gain and a lot of danger.

** Possibly ''because'' they were nocturnal and sensitive to light and they have pretty gruesome nests. Or in other words: they won't make very much money, or draw in crowds. The cost/profit of maintaining them just isn't worth it. Presumably the Dilophosaurus is easier to maintain, or with it's frill he sees marketing potential.

** Wipe out one species of whale and it has a knock on effect on other species and organisms that compete/feed on/are fed on by that species. Depending on how long it lived the cascading effects could be severe - Chaps Theory in action.

* The attempt to explain the JP version of velociraptor away as a misclassification was clever, but only to a point. After all, Grant digs one up at the start of the film and identifies it as a velociraptor. If Hammond's people got it wrong, then so too did Grant and his whole team, which is vanishingly unlikely. The attempted retcon breaks more than it fixes.

* Why did Hammond order the Troodon euthanized but not the other dangerous dinosaurs? The Dilophosaurus were also venomous and could ''spit'' that venom. The Troodon (gruesome nesting habit aside), are sensitive to light, nocturnal and need to be close range to envenom anyone. They'd be inactive during the day and [[spoiler: can be fended off by bright light]]; the only danger earlier was they bit people with guns who started spraying bullets everywhere. If anything, Dilophosaurus was more dangerous (though that didn't come out in the game).
