** In the third movie, Grimmel mentions that Night Furies are particularly susceptible to cold temperatures. However Toothless has been in cold environments throughout his travels with Hiccup and shows no discomfort while being in it. If you think in the tv series where Toothless survived a cold environment like Glacier Island, remember in the second film, when Valka first encountered Hiccup, and Toothless fell into the icy cold water where the Seashockers carried him to the dragon's nest? How close did Toothless come to succumbing to the cold?

This led to him becoming addicted to painkillers, followed by substance abuse in general which led to his death in 2011 from pneumonia (which wasn't diagnosed correctly). Between this, Olivia Newton-John's aforementioned cancer, and Creator/JohnTravolta's many professional and personal woes over the years, some have wondered if the 1978 movie was cursed.

* Film/Grease: The ending of the movie version, in which Danny and Sandy get into a restored Greased Lightning and seem to fly off into the sky was already a head-scratcher, which led some fans to theorize that Sandy had actually drowned at the beginning, the movie was her DyingDream, and her and Danny flying away marks her "moving on". After her actress, Creator/OliviaNewton-John, passed away from cancer in 2022, that scene (not to mention the whole "Sandy is dead" theory), becomes somewhat tragic; not helped by Sandy waving goodbye to her friends (and the audience) in the last scene.

* Film/ByTheSea stars Creator/AngelinaJolie and Creator/BradPitt as a couple with a failing marriage, and was released two years before their own marriage broke up. More specifically, it has a scene in which Pitt's character drunkenly tries to have sex with Jolie's, she fights him off, and he says "We aren't going to make it." This became harsher after Jolie claimed that Pitt had assaulted her on a private jet flight while drunk.

* I Love You, Daddy had its premiere cancelled once director, co-writer, co-producer, and star Creator/LouisCK had a series of confirmed sexual allegations thrown at him. It also made the film's plot, a TV producer tries to stop an older filmmaker/sexual predator from sleeping with his teenage actress daughter, a lot more uncomfortable, and as pointed out by some reviewers, hypocritical.

* In Film/BackToTheFuturePartII, a copy of USA Today has this in the top right-hand corner: "Washington prepares for Queen Diana's visit." The film, of course, long predates not only Diana's very public divorce from Prince Charles but her catastrophic death in a Paris car crash. The newspaper in the film is made a little less painful to see now that 2015 has actually come to pass, with Queen Elizabeth II still on the throne as of October 21 -- meaning that the headline would not have been possible on that date even if neither of those events had happened. Possibly even more depressing is Marty being forced to give up the job he loved because of his hands not working properly. Creator/MichaelJFox has Parkinson's, which has forced him to pretty much retire from acting.

** And Al-G Rhythm showing he wants to erase the Looney Tunes from existence came off as relevant one year later as amid Warner's merger with Discovery, plenty of animated projects were removed from HBO Max, including Westernanimation/TheLooneyTunesShow and Film/LooneyTunesBackInAction. And even worse, a few cartoons in production were downright cancelled so they could be written off for tax returns.
