The first poem revolves around the titular reindeer overcoming the bullying he went through and leading Santa's reindeer. The second is about Dolly, who somehow lives on the Island of Misfit Toys despite nothing seemingly being wrong with her. The final entry describes Yukon Cornelius' sleigh hounds, none of which look like sleigh-type dogs, but neither he nor anyone else ever mentions or acknowledges the fact.
