* There's an awful lot of this in "Divorce, Mountain Style", from Dud Walsh (played here by the scrawny Creator/BobDenver]]) trying to pick a fight with Andy for Charlene divorcing him for the sheriff to a comically doomy rendition of "Here Comes the Bride" to Barney repeatedly trying and failing to take advantage of a mountain superstition by riding a white horse (which he is allergic to) to make Andy seem like bad luck for Charlene.

* After discovering that Andy convinced some of the other single guys in town that she's interested in them, Ellie fixes Andy a special milkshake spiked with mustard powder, castor oil, and milk of magnesia. Andy's visceral reaction when he takes a sip of the shake is priceless.

* The entirety of "High Noon in Mayberry", wherein Barney thinks that a man whom Andy injured in a fight years ago is coming back to Mayberry for revenge (or "r-e-v-e-n-g", as spelled by Barney) and hires Otis and Gomer as temporary deputies to help protect Andy. HilarityEnsues as Barney, Otis, and Gomer try to protect Andy without letting Andy know.

** Barney and Andy's method of getting rid of the pickles was "rewarding" random strangers with the pickles who were passing through Mayberry. Once has to wonder if they thought it was a prank after trying the pickles.
