* With the knowledge that Pinocchio is a "fish" [[ItCanThink that can talk and beg]] the Green Fisherman offers him to pick and choose how he'd like to be cooked.
* The fact that Alidoro saves Pinocchio and outruns the enraged Green Fisherman because the latter gives up after becoming fatigued from running, most likely due to his unhealthy diet.
* Regardless of it being a DisproportionateRetribution after SkippingSchool and escaping the Green Fisherman, Pinocchio being stuck outside the Blue Fairy's house while it's raining because the Snail Maid is taking a very long time to come downstairs and let him in is pretty comical. Then Pinocchio impatiently starts kicking the door until he gets [[CrossesTheLineTwice his foot stuck through it]] forcing him to stay up waiting in that position until the snail arrives.

* When Pinocchio turns back into a puppet after the attempt of drowning him, he has an amusing interaction with the man who wanted to make a drum out of his skin, starting off with him explaining how the Blue Fairy's fishes ate his donkey exterior and one of them was kind enough to eat off his tail making the man [[NauseaFuel very disgusted]], prompting him to say: "From now on I swear I will never taste fish again, I would hate cutting up a fried mullet or a whitefish and find a donkey's tail inside its body!"

** Once Pinocchio is done explaining his story, the man becomes angered since it doesn't change the fact that he just wasted the money he spent on a now-gone lame donkey he wanted to make a drum out of, until he resolves that since Pinocchio is a wooden puppet, he could try selling him at the market place as firewood. To this, Pinocchio jumps into the sea and swims away, all while trolling the man: "Goodbye, master! If you'll ever need skin to make a drumhead, remember me!" and after swimming a little farther: "Goodbye, master! If you'll ever need a fine piece of dried wood to light up a fireplace, remember me!"
