* In "Pressure Cooker", Cleo swims to her and Lewis' old fishing spot, hoping she can confide in him about her upset with her father apparently having a date. When she finds him with Charlotte there, her jealousy and disappointment get the better of her and she starts pulling away on Lewis' fishing bait. Charlotte, kept ignorant, remarks that a fish has bitten and is confused as to why Lewis (wisely) chooses not to go into a tug of war with a cross mermaid, and when Cleo just rips his fishing rod into the water, he wryly comments that the "fish" was apparently TheOneThatGotAway.

* In "Love Potion", Cleo has an ImagineSpot where Lewis is dancing with Tiffany, and then asks her for a toenail sample with the air of someone proposing. Imaginary Tiffany answers yes with the same air, then leans in to kiss him. Cut back to Cleo, who looks disturbed at what her mind cooked up.

* Season 2 sees Cleo and her sister Kim finally getting along a bit better...but it's not because Kim grows ''out'' of her brattiness, but because Cleo grows ''into'' a hefty dose of teenager attitude.

** Charlotte is really persistent about getting a juice order even when the cafe is closed (due to the gang trying to stop the fungus growing). Emma may be Miss Goodie Two Shoes with other customers, but her politeness doesn't extend to Charlotte.

* You know how Kim wanted to find out about the girls' mermaid powers? Well, thanks to Kim's actress Cleo Massey...she kind of got her wish. Whereas in this behind-the-scenes shot where the crew gave Cleo Massey a chance to try on one of the mermaid tails and go for a quick swim as pictured above.

** Earlier on, Emma snaps at her brother for decorating the house with black balloons. As soon as Rikki and Cleo arrive, Rikki takes one look at the balloons and says "welcome to my Gothic world"

* Kim gets a lovely BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor moment in the wish-granting episode. Cleo is in the bath and Kim is ranting to her father "I just wish I could have a shower when I wanted one!". This activates Cleo's wish-granting powers (she's in mermaid form) and Kim gets showered with the garden sprinkler.

* When Rikki quits her job out of frustration, Emma runs after her saying "you can't just quit. You have to fill out a resignation form!"
* When they're trying to deal with a frozen Miriam...

* When Miriam gets revived, Emma rushes forward and hugs her frantically while Miriam hasn't got a clue what's going on.
* The end of the episode has Wilfred noting that Rikki is doing quite well in her job, while he's very disappointed with how Emma behaved. Rikki decides to throw her job and immediately yells at a customer to drink her juice faster. What's funny is that the customer actually ''does''.

** The entire house gets quarantined because Dr Holt thinks the girls have some rare tropical illness. The specialist comes back with test results and the girls are all cleared as healthy - except for Elliott, who's got the measles. The reactions of Dr Holt and the team she called in are priceless.

** Kim getting her comeuppance at the end. She discovers she accidentally caught the measles off Elliott (by drinking his water).
