The piano player has his back to the crowd, the saxophone player is facing the piano player and never looks ahead, the drummer and the two guitar players do look around on occasion but don't notice the spider. The cello player also keeps his eyes closed the entire time, and keeps his eyes shut and continues playing even after everyone sees the spider and runs away screaming. It's not until Joe runs back to grab him that he finally opens his eyes and sees what all the fuss is about...
