* whenever [[spoiler: Rai meets his cousin it's a somewhat mix of this and heartwarming as in chapter 12 when they first meet (they don't know they cousins yet) he's trying to escape from where Kyoto is based and runs into a room where she is and once she finds out he's a black knight he has to improvise and is able to wing it enough (kaguya being a huge fangirl of zero and the black knights helps) to hear from zero withhim teasing kallen is worryed about him (and her reaction to that) to getting Kaguya to guide him out which she does by holding his hand like a couple would and leading him to the tunnels in chapter 20 when she now knows who he is they go on a day out to the sumeragi and Kururugi shrines where Rai hears how Suzaku used to be a meanie is forced to give kaguya a piggyback ride back to Kyoto and stay for supper then in chapter 23 went they meet again on gi base he hides his injury by saying he's hungry and goes off to get 'Fruit' for him and Kaguya and this includes kaguya's speech to zero beforehand where she offers to be his wife ]]
* Milly as always [[spoiler: chapter two somehow milly had Rai measured while he was asleep (no not that kind of measuring though with her you can never tell chapter sixteen her reaction to catching Kallen in Rai's arms (it was arthur's fault) chapter twenty her teasing and sending Rai off to visit Kallens house chapter 25 milly putting her 'GOOD LUCK' spell on Rai heatwarming as well as Rai is departing ]]
* chapter 24 [[spoiler: Rai beats Sai by punching him and sending him flying into a pole (lamp pole that lights up the harbor) also Sai's (reaction to Rai scaring his face with Kallen's pouch and this line by Rai "Well what do you know…You're starting to act like a Britannian now." that ended with Rai being Stabbed in a horrible place (no not that sort of place) ]]
** which come's back as a brick joke in [[spoiler: Chapter fifteen where some of them try to rob a store now they can't beat people up anymore at the same time Suzaku and Sai are doing some shopping (yes shopping) and leads to them disarming them and Suzaku doing his famous kick to boot congrats guy's now your going to jail ]]
* Quite a bit of chaper 21 is hilarous and heartwarming at the same time as [[spoiler: Kallen and Rai have a ah 'date' which involved Rai eating super curry that cause him to run for water and drink one bottle all in one go as it was that hot later they went in to the Haunted House Lelouch tricked kallen into working in earlier and when they come to the bit where Kallen worked earlier in the festival and the tomb person comes out it scares Kallen enough to make her hold Rai's arm and drag him out of the haunted house very ironic considering how she said it wasn't frigthening and for Rai not to expect her to hold his arm plus you add in Rai's jokey teasing lines just before and after it makes it more hilarous oh irony indeed ]] oh and [[spoiler: once everyone finds out euphie is at the festival everyone tramples over Rai and Sai pizza ends up in the tree (though no mention of C.C's reaction to that oh well) ]] so all in all a good day for Rai and Kallen
