He's supposed to [[KillAndReplace kill and take the likeness of a foreign industrialist]] to take over his factory for evil Serpent Person plots. Instead, he manages to almost bungle the operation by accidentally walking into the wrong, very much occupied hotel room, covered in blood after skipping out for a midnight snack of dog (and of course is one of the PC's rooms), accidentally getting his picture taken which may (or may not) reveal his true nature as a Serpent Person which results in him killing the photographer before the photo gets developed in what may (or may not be) a fit of unfounded paranoia, and gets revealed anyway by an airline stewardess accidentally spilling a cup of really hot coffee in his lap, which breaks his disguise spell. The best part about this being that [[LateToTheRealization he has no idea the spell's been broken]] and is still frantically dabbing a napkin on his scaly lap and calling the stewardess an idiot, only to realize the jig is up when people start screaming about a snake monster and drawing guns on him.

* One of the spells in the Call of Cthulhu 7th edition Spell handbook is Feast of Owl, which teleports a small burrowing owl inside the target's stomach, forcing it to eat it's way out of the target, which is Obviously horrible, but it's quite the absurd way of attacking and one could imagine the owl being just as panicked and confused as the receiver.
