* Flair being amused by Kevin locking in the Iron Claw hard enough to bust him open makes sense when you realise that Flair made a career out of blading, sometimes even doing it to himself during promos. Hell, the bleeding he shows in the locker room is pretty tame compared to some of the times Flair would bleed.

The fact that Fritz pushes his sons into wrestling careers that don't suit them is pretty much the whole point of the film, so it's not really fridge brilliance. Also check out Example Indentation.

** This also serves to underscore the wasted potential Mike has as a backstage presence and producer. Even setting aside how successful many less-capable performers in the music industry have been and are stepping away from the limelight to work behind the scenes, Mike could've been a real asset to WCCW, especially since it's established that he's interested in the camerawork as well as music. But Fritz is only interested in his sons winning glory in the ring, especially once David's death, in his eyes, robs them of the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title he covets.

* Mike is rather shy and a pretty lousy pro wrestler, as shown by his inability to sell his moves in practice and the sedate reaction of the crowd to his wrestling. His real passion is music, but he's got the same problem. When we see him perform at a party, his music sounds pretty good, but his minimal stage presence is highlighted by his bandmate rocking out right beside him with all the charisma that Mike lacks.
