Neither; it was a poor attempt at injecting comedy by the translators. The original Japanese dialogue in that cutscene was more serious and didn't have Astral calling Zalbard ugly or enraging him. Either way, that didn't even happen in this game; but in Shining Force II. So, I'm removing this.

* Why is Arthur the only centaur knight who can use magic? Because he lived Manarina, aka the same mage school that Anri was attending. Despite being a laundryman, he had to learn ''something'' while in there.
* Was Sir Astral really being careless when he insulted the Greater Devil [[AffablyEvil Zalbard]], thus provoking him into a fight, or did he know full well that the Force would have to kill him eventually, and set him off early to avoid falling into a potential trap?

* There's a reason why the calvary in this series are exclusively centaurs: they can't be knocked off their horse like humans, as they ''are'' the horse.
* Why are Hanzou and Musashi introduced so late in the game? Because they're expys for certain Japanese figures, and would likely be foreign to the mostly western-fantasy setting. Plus, Runefaust/Protectora is the easternmost known continent, so if they sailed over from further east, that's where they'd end up.
