* Jean-Ralphio fakes his own death so his sister can collect the insurance money and start a casino in Tajikistan. It's an idiotic plan, and for more then just the obvious reasons -- gambling is blanketly illegal is Tajikistan. Apparently, the Saperstien siblings went into this plan with the same amount of foreplanning as the rest of them.

* Ann having a separate B-plot during "Andy and April's Fancy Party" seems odd, but makes sense she wouldn't be at the [[spoiler:wedding]] because Ann used to date the [[spoiler:groom]] (and the [[spoiler:bride]] hates her).

* No wonder Leslie was [[spoiler:recalled]]. She won by only 26 votes and proceeded to enact several very controversial legislations.

* In the time skip series finale, [[spoiler: there seems to be a national beef shortage. It is a wonder how Ron did not die of shock.]]
* Tammy One knew Ron from birth, and he had a relationship with her from at least age 15. She was his teacher for Sunday School, middle school, and driver’s ed. She probably had a deep personal connection with him and his family, lowering his inhibitions. That’s the definition of child grooming. Ron’s aversion to blondes is likely a subconscious reaction to what was probably years of childhood sexual abuse.

* Sewage Joe appears in "Bailout" asking the government for money, saying that if he doesn’t get it, he will be at risk of physical harm, and that he can’t go to the police. Leslie doesn’t give him any money, [[UncertainDoom and that’s the last we see of him.]]

* In "The Trial of Leslie Knope", Leslie and Chris are shocked to learn Jerry's real name is Garry. Yet, in the previous episode "Smallest Park", Tom does not react to Jerry's employee ID naming him Garry at all. Why? A possible explanation is that two seasons ago, in "Practice Date", the entire department played a game where they dug up dirt on each other, with Jerry being everyone's favorite target, surely they did find out his real name was Garry, but consciously chose to not call him that; in that episode Leslie had her own subplot and didn't participate, and Chris hadn't come to Pawnee yet.

* At first, Andy and Ann's relationship early on doesn't seem to make sense, but when one takes into account that Ann is prone to acting a bit maternal towards anyone who gets hurt and how she even describes Andy as having been a "totally helpless baby" when they first started dating, it can certainly explain why she felt like she ''had'' to take care of/protect Andy all the time. The self-defense course scene in "Park Safety" especially shows how April succeeded in motivating Andy to better himself where Ann failed - whereas Ann constantly coddled Andy and thus enabled his leeching, April simply told Andy to get back up and dust himself off.

Deleted the calories comment about Leslie not gaining weight due to her work ethic. That's not how calories work and isn't really logic.

* Leslie is addicted to sugar and high-calorie breakfast foods like waffles smothered with whipped cream. Yet she isn't morbidly obese, like so many of the other inhabitants of Pawnee. Why? Because she burns off all those calories with her almost-manic hyperactivity and work ethic. She works harder than anyone else in the show, and that's where all the calories are going.

* The first two seasons make a RunningGag out of Leslie not enjoying sex -- checking out ''The Mysteries of the Female Orgasm'' from the library, telling Tom women don't like when sex lasts too long, and so on. This joke is quietly dropped later on. When? Oh, right about the time Ben shows up. Looks like he knows how to show a woman a good time.
