* The “Labor is Evil” ending: A couple of months after Ame and P-Chan decide to quit streaming and live regular lives, the former abruptly disappears mid-text conversation, leaving P-Chan confused and wondering if she really was happy living offline. The really scary part is [[NothingIsScarier wondering just what happened to her in that moment]] -- was it metaphorical, a sign that Ame is nothing without the internet’s validation, or her peculiar "Ame" persona is snuffed out by reality and only left behind a conformist "P" persona? Did she get kidnapped? Or even worse, did she commit suicide, and that last conversation with P-Chan was effectively her suicide note? Any way you look at it, it doesn’t end well for Ame.
