* Being the 2nd in the continuing series of team-ups, ''Carranger vs. Ohranger'' was the first to have the team hate each other's guts when they first met and end with them being friends at the end, dancing on the beach after the big battle.
There is one problem with the use here: there's no sequence of them overcoming their differences in this film. Kyosuke/Red Racer decides to help Bara Mobile (under the mistaken impression he was a good guy), the Ohrangers get upset and fight the Carrangers, Goro/OhRed gets kidnapped and WE DON'T SEE THE OTHER OHRANGERS UNTIL THE FINAL BATTLE! It's up to the Carrangers to pilot Ohranger Robo to save Goro with the other Ohrangers not helping to train them or coming along in the rescue mission. They do work together to defeat both monsters but there's no reason for them to be friendly to each other.[[note]]To give the production team a break, it should be pointed out that this was only the 2nd team-up and was likely only planned after Ohranger vs Kakuranger turned out good. By that time, the Ohranger cast probably already fulfilled their contractual obligations and had to work around other commitments. It was likely with the Carranger cast that they included language in the contracts to get them back for a team-up with their successors. It doesn't excuse how the script glossed over the them becoming friendly to each other, but it does show the production had to make due with what they had.[[/note]]
