* In the episode "The Quest", when the gargoyles attack the desert folk, we're treated to a scene where the guards ready their arm-mounted crossbows and shoot flaming bolts at the gargoyles. They promptly prove absolutely useless. Blackstar and co immediately help defend the desert folks, starting with Blackstar doing his usual thing and shooting the gargoyles with energy beams and Warlock barfs HUGE blasts of flames at them. What does Klone do? He shapeshifts into a clay demon and throws wet balls of clay at the first gargoyle that rears its head at him, and it somehow scares the gargoyle off. How is wet clay more of a threat than crossbow bolts against a stone monster?
