''The Ghost'' (literally translated from the original German title ''Das Gespenst'') is a 1982 German drama film directed, produced, and written by Herbert Achternbusch. It stars Herbert Achternbusch as Ober, Annamirl Bierbichler as Oberin, and Werner Schroeter as Bischof.

The plot has Jesus come back present-day Bavaria, walk around Munich, and strike up an affair with a nun. He claims that they are married anyway. He takes to calling himself "Ober". Eventually he transforms into a snake, she transforms into a bird of prey, and she carries him up into the sky.
