* WhereTheHellIsSpringfield: It's not entirely clear where the story is meant to take place. A reference to Lyndon being a Member of Parliament suggests that it may have been intended to be set in Australia like the original film, but all the vehicles are left-hand drive.

drive. The fact that it's very obviously filmed in Italy doesn't help.

''Patrick Still Lives'' (Italian: ''Patrick vive ancora'') is a 1980 Italian horror film directed by Mario Landi (''Film/GialloInVenice'') and starring Sacha Pitoëff, Gianni Dei, Mariangela Giordano, Carmen Russo, Paolo Giusti, and Franco Silva. The film is an unauthorized, InNameOnly sequel to the 1978 Australian film ''Film/{{Patrick}}'', and follows the events surrounding a young man named Patrick Herschel (Dei) who is sent into a coma following a roadside accident and subsequently develops PsychicPowers, which he uses to commit a series of brutal murders.

!! Patrick Still Tropes:

* AndIMustScream: As in the original Australian production, the title character is left in such a state at the beginning of the film, though here it's accidental.
* BitchSlap: Stella attempts to seduce Mr. Davis, but he rebuffs her advances, calls her a cheap whore, and slaps her across the face. Stella then returns the favour and slaps Mr. Davis.
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: In addition to Sheryl's death by decapitation and Stella's by impalement, Lyndon is fatally scalded in his swimming pool, Peter is gassed to death inside his car, Mr. Davis is [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice impaled on]] and hung by a meat hook, Meg is mauled to death by dogs, and a male nurse is electrocuted.
* DisposableSexWorker: Stella is revealed to be a former prostitute. Guess what happens to her in the end.
* FacelessEye: Whenever Patrick uses his powers, the image of his disembodied eyes appears on screen.
* {{Fanservice}}: Virtually every female character gets naked or topless at some point.
* GrievousBottleyHarm: Patrick is left in a coma after being hit in the face by a bottle thrown from a passing van.
* GroinAttack: One of the most insanely brutal examples in film history - Stella is impaled in the crotch with a ''red-hot poker''.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: [[spoiler:Dr. Herschel tells Patrick to kill Lydia, but he refuses, so Dr. Herschel decides to do it himself using a poison syringe. Patrick then uses his powers to force the doctor to inject himself with the poison.]]
* MorallyAmbiguousDoctorate: Dr. Herschel keeps a group of comatose patients alive in his laboratory [[ForScience for the purpose of scientific research]].
* NoEnding: [[spoiler:Lydia attempts to flee from the house, but Patrick has blocked off all the exits, forcing her to retreat to his room. There, she lets out a scream - and then the film just stops.]]
* OffWithHisHead: Sheryl is decapitated by her car's electric window.
* PornStache: Peter boasts a pretty impressive one.
* ProductPlacement: Virtually every character is seen drinking from a bottle of J&B whiskey at some point.
* PsychicPowers: As with the original film, the title character is telekinetic, and uses it to cause harm to others. The main difference is that here he's being used by someone else [[spoiler:for the purpose of vengeance]] rather than acting on his own interests.
* {{Revenge}}: [[spoiler:It is eventually revealed that the six guests were in the van from which the bottle that put Patrick in his coma was thrown, and Dr. Herschel invited them over for the purpose of using his son's powers to exact revenge on them for leaving him in such a state.]]
* VillainousCrush: Patrick seems to have one for Lydia, as demonstrated in a scene where he attempts to telekinetically lift her skirt up.
* WhereTheHellIsSpringfield: It's not entirely clear where the story is meant to take place. A reference to Lyndon being a Member of Parliament suggests that it may have been intended to be set in Australia like the original film, but all the vehicles are left-hand drive.
