* ImmoralJournalist: Applies to basically the entire WNUF production team. [[spoiler: For the second time, the producers exploited a real tragedy with real deaths as the basis for a ratings-grabbing Halloween hoax, and both times, it unintentionally lead to the deaths of multiple people due to irresponsible security measures and sensationalism.]]

* GoneHorriblyRight: Ivy Sparks is implied to be trying hard to make something shocking after losing her cushy talk show slot. It's implied by a scene at the end of the video that she ends up a scapegoat after she effectively helped broadcast a live mass suicide, with ''Out There'' itself cancelled indefinitely.

A 2022 sequel to ''Film/WNUFHalloweenSpecial'', heavily influenced by the culture of TheNineties instead of TheEighties like ''WNUF'',

The first part of the film is a recording of ''Ivy Sparks'', a PointAndLaughShow TalkShow featuring unusual Halloween-themed guests.

The second part of the film follows Ivy in her new post-cancellation job: the cohost of ''Out There'', an investigative reporting show focused on the paranormal. This particular Halloween night sees the crew investigating a local military base that is shrouded in secrecy and rumors of alien contact, as well as awaiting what appears to be impending UFO landing nearby...

----
!!This recording has examples of:
* ApocalypseCult: The Temple of Divine Purity, the UFO cult awaiting the landing, is heavily inspired by [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heaven%27s_Gate_(religious_group) Heaven's Gate]] down to the nicknames and matching clothing. [[spoiler: They all drink poison upon seeing the UFO land, but by the time the fakery is revealed, it's too late to do anything about it.]]
* AttackOfThePoliticalAd: As in ''WNUF'', a pair of politicians trade barbs back and forth over the course of the recording.
* CatchPhrase: Ivy's talk show mantra is "Be nice!", but she's clearly over it by the time she's working at ''Out There''.
* CropCircles: Shown as proof of alien activity.
* DeliberateVHSQuality
* IntrepidReporter: The ''OutThere'' crew have [[spoiler:taken great pains to get cameras inside of the military base, which may have lead to the deaths of their cameramen.]]
* ShowWithinAShow: The fake movies Reed Richmond has starred in and shares factoids about.
* TotallyRadical: Many of the fake advertisements such as a Super Soaker-eqsue water gun.
