Ambiguous Disorder is not a trope anymore, but a redirect to a YMMV entry.

* AmbiguousDisorder: Carol. It's hinted that it has something to do with being born unable to breathe.

* OurZombiesAreDifferent: Wendy's corpse drifts in and out of reanimation and isn't very strong, so she's not lethal unless [[spoiler: you try to kiss her]]. Plus, she's the only one.

A strange little indie film about lost love that was never there and the difficulties of letting go.

[[BreadEggsMilkSquick And a zombie.]]

Directed and produced by a film making collective known as "The Deagol Brothers", ''Make-Out With Violence'' tells the story of three brothers who find the reanimated corpse of their recently deceased friend. Said friend was on the receiving end of an unrequited crush from one of the brothers, and had disappeared some time earlier. But instead of alerting the police, the brothers decide to take her home and keep her hidden, for reasons unclear, possibly even to themselves. It's just as creepy as it sounds, and things only get worse from there as the three try to balance their changing social lives in the summer after high school with the severity of their situation. It's a unique kind of RomZomCom in that the zombie aspect is downplayed to a metaphor, focusing instead on a series of imperfect, unrequited, or just plain dysfunctional romances. The whole thing has a dreamlike feel with a quirky sense of humor.

Also, it takes place in the 80's.

!!''Make-Out With Violence'' provides examples of:

* AllLoveIsUnrequited: Boy howdy is it ever.
* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: There are a lot of ways to look at Patrick and Carol's motivations.
* AndThenJohnWasAZombie: Happens to Wendy during the opening credits.
* AmbiguousDisorder: Carol. It's hinted that it has something to do with being born unable to breathe.
* ComfortingTheWidow: Addy does this with Brian, Wendy's boyfriend. Patrick calls it "Sleaze Comforting".
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: Mostly averted. There's some making out here and there, but virtually no violence. [[spoiler: No violence on-screen, at least. And then there's the ending...]]
* FirstPersonPeripheralNarrator: Beetle narrates, but the story is really about Patrick and Carol.
* GenderBlenderName: The brothers' parents only had two names picked: One for a boy and one for a girl. When it turned out they had twins, they just used both.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Patrick's greatest flaw apart from his inability to let go. He goes out of his way to let everyone know how sad he is, even going so far as to [[spoiler: say Wendy's death is hitting him harder than anyone, right to her boyfriend's face.]] He even seemed to expect sympathy.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Beetle. Maybe. His parents ''did'' name his older brother "Carol", after all.
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: Wendy's corpse drifts in and out of reanimation and isn't very strong, so she's not lethal unless [[spoiler: you try to kiss her]]. Plus, she's the only one.
* VillainProtagonist: Sort of, depending on how you interpret Patrick's actions.[[spoiler: Especially toward the end.]]
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Wendy's death is never explained, nor do the brothers every try to figure it out. They never even seem to question why [[spoiler: they found her tied up to two trees.]]
