''Eiffel'' is a 2021 romantic drama film loosely based off the life of Gustave Eiffel, the French civil engineer who gave UsefulNotes/{{Paris}} its most iconic monument, the Eiffel Tower. It is directed by Martin Bourboulon, written by Caroline Bongrand and stars and . Music/AlexandreDesplat composed the soundtrack.

Towards the end of the 1880s, Gustave Eiffel (Creator/RomainDuris) just finished collaborating on building the structure of the Art/StatueOfLiberty. He faces pressure from the French government, who want him to conceive "something spectacular" for the 1889 World's Fair. While Gustave has trouble working on this project since he's only interested in working on the [[UsefulNotes/LeMetropolitain Métropolitain]], he meets up with an old youth flame, Adrienne Bourgès (Creator/EmmaMackey), which he met when building a bridge over the Garonne river in 1860. Their flame gets revived and she even inspires him the new project. The only thing is, Adrienne is married to another man.
