Sometime before his death in the previous film, it turns out that the late Captain Howard had recorded an urgent message detailing that he had been framed for making deals with a drug cartel. As the message reaches Mike and Marcus, the two find themselves being set up as well, and must now go on the run to prove not only their deceased captain's innocence, but also theirs.
