* In ''Anime/BrandNewAnimal'', reactions from humans to beastpeople range from unintentionally insensitive public comments to intentionally insensitive comments made when they think beastpeople aren't in earshot, to ''attempted murder''.

** The majority of demons are physically identical to humans, they have the same food, similar architecture, and similar social structure. The biggest difference is that demons tend to be superior in terms of stats. Despite this the two races have been trapped in a ForeverWar that has left both sides exhausted and hurting solely due to the animosity between the two races.

The Devil race has suffered a severe depopulation thanks to the GreatOffscreenWar, and as such, reincarnated humans are being used to fill out the ranks. Rias explains that at first, reincarnated devils were seen as second-class despite legally being able to hold any position a pure-blooded devil could. However, the [[ChessMotifs Evil Piece]] system encouraged high-class devils to value and eventually respect the reincarnated devils under their command. By the start of the series, most devils will respect anyone who proves capable in the position they've been assigned, and openly being a dick to reincarnated devils for that reason alone is considered a faux pas even among the pure-blooded upper echelons.

* In ''Anime/{{Elfen Lied}}'', The Diclonius have powers that can kill a human being instantly, those without a murderous personality, for example; Nana, were treated like a second class citizen or worse because of her appearance, Lucy as suffered a horrible past as she murdered bullies because of her horns.

** While not explicitly labelled as such, [[spoiler: Milliardo Peacecraft's]] rhetoric in ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing'' final plot arc runs along the same logic as this trope, stating that wars are the result of the result of people living on Earth as opposed to the people living in the colonies. This trope is ultimately subverted however, with the antagonists claiming they don't intend to pursue violence against anyone fleeing the Earth, just the Earth itself.

* In Anime/FushigiNoKuniNoAlice, Speciesism crops up now and then, in particular with the cold blooded and other not so warm and fuzzy type creatures (crows, sometimes rodents and insects).

* In ''Manga/KotouraSan'', the CrapsaccharineWorld around the cast, [[PsychicPowers Espers]] are either [[TheCassandra fakes]], [[YouMonster monsters]], or both even though they blatantly prove their powers to be real. Any YesMan would do this to maintain the [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatemae Tatemae]] ideal since espers are [[MindOverManners a threat towards his/her chances of being accepted into society]], [[NoSympathy even if said epser]] [[InnocentlyInsensitive doesn't know better]] (such as [[{{Telepathy}} Haruka]]). So, they [[InvokedTrope intentionally]] [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer outcast]] espers to keep other people from knowing [[BrutalHonesty the cold hard truth about themselves]] and risk being rejected.

* In ''Anime/{{Endride}}'', [[PettingZooPeople Zoozians]] are more powerful but less populous than the humanoid Endras, so the Endras used their superior numbers to force them into doing the worst labour, and put the ones too weak to work into the FantasticGhetto. Endras tend to instinctively fear Zoozians for their supposed savagery, while Zoozians (justifiably) feel distrust towards the Endras.

* In ''Manga/MyHeroAcademia'', people were afraid of Quirks at first, leading to conflict when the [[UnSorcerer Quirkless]] began attacking those with Quirks as the [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman definition of human began to shift.]] In the present, [[EveryoneIsASuper Quirks are so common]] that this form of discrimination has mostly diminished. Instead, it's Quirkless kids like Izuku who are the target of bullying and scorn for not having the superpowers everyone else has.

* General Sakamori Miwa of ''Anime/{{Daimos}}'' is horribly racist to the Baan and wishes nothing more than to see them all killed. This culminates when he takes over Daimos and tries to kill them that way, but fails. Ultimately, Kazuya's had enough and beats him within an inch of his life before he's arrested for his crimes. When he appears in ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars'', LaserGuidedKarma hits him even more and he'll even be killed for his actions.

* In a major case of AllThereInTheManual, it's revealed that the ''Anime/TenchiMuyo''-based alien race, Juraians, have a major thing against humans, most likely due to their "backwater" nature (seeing as humans still don't have FasterThanLightTravel). This is one of the major reasons Yosho (who was half-human) took off after Ryoko - he didn't want to deal with all of that and intended to send someone else in his place. Of course, his bride-to-be Ayeka, who believed Yosho was dead, was not happy to learn of this revelation.

** Several of the demons from the Book of Zeref have a hatred of humans and want to destroy them. Marde Guille takes it UpToEleven. When he finds out that his comrade Kyouka sadistically [[ShamefulStrip stripped]] and [[ColdBloodedTorture tortured]] Erza Scarlet, he brutally punished her because to him, humans are worthless and should be killed on sight, not made into playthings, and Kyouka's treatment of Erza implied that she liked her in a way and wanted to keep her.

* Yukiji from ''Manga/KamisamaKiss'' hates youkai with a passion, going as far as to throw parties when she hears that one of them is being hunted down. [[spoiler: This becomes awkward when Tomoe, a LittleBitBeastly {{Kitsune}} starts to fall in love with her.]]

** Shun and Yuto from the Xyz Dimension are likewise prejudiced against Fusion users, because of the attacks they endured. Yuto at least manages to overcome this when Yuzu learns to Fusion summon, but Shun is universally against Fusion for them kidnapping his sister. He seems to grudgingly get better once Serena [[spoiler: saves his life]], hating [[AcademyOfEvil Academia]] directly instead of all fusionists.

* In Anime/FushigiNoKuniNoAlice, Speciesism crops up now and then, in particular with the cold blooded and other not so warm and fuzzy type creatures (crows, sometimes rodents and insects).
* In ''Manga/KomonoJihen'', humans who are aware of the existence of Kemono (like the main character's aunt), show clear disdain for them. On the flip side, ill-natured Kemono frequently look down on humans and see them only as a food source and things to play with rather than sentient beings.

* In ''Anime/MagiLabyrinthOfMagic'', the Fantalis clan such as Morgiana and Muu are often discriminated and treated wrongly. More so, often [[BullyingTheDragon at the offender's own risk.]]
** This was revealed to be the main problem in [[spoiler: Magnoostadt]] where they treated the [[{{Muggles}} Goi]] horribly. While [[HumansAreBastards some of this behaviour]] was justified, most of it was treated as a KickTheDog.

** Meowth hates all Persian, his specie's evolution. This stems from his first love choosing a Persian over him, and being jealous of Giovanni's Persian. He hates them enough he decided never to evolve, although, he may not even be capable of that anyway because learning to speak somehow kept him from getting stronger or learning any new moves, (even his specie's signature move). Ash's Pikachu similarly has issues with it's species evolution.
