* ''Pairing(s)'': Finnick Odair/Annie Cresta
* ''Summary'': Finnick will do anything to get out of mentoring at this year’s Hunger Games. He knows the things he’ll be forced to do when he arrives in the Capitol. But when his godmother’s only daughter, Annie, is chosen as District 4’s tribute, Finnick has no choice but to try his best to bring her home. But although Finnick is a national hero in Panem, as a mentor he’s never got a tribute through the Games alive. As Annie and Finnick navigate demanding sponsors, ruthless Gamemakers and deadly tributes, how much will they both have to sacrifice to keep Annie alive? And will their growing feelings for each other put them in even more danger?
* ''Comments'': This is an absolutely gorgeous fic! It perfectly captures Finnick and Annie's growing relationship against the backdrop of Annie's games. The characters have so much depth and the romance is absolutely swoon-worthy with ALL the angsty slow-burn feels.

* The only Narrow Path installment not narrated by Haymitch, this one follows Effie Trinket, through fifteen years as the escort for District 12. Coming on the heels of a sadistic, hated Escort who put Haymitch and his tributes through emotional torture, Effie comes across as a LighterShadeOfBlack to them. The story follows her wrestling with complicated feelings about both Haymitch and her job, while giving attention to the various victors over that time period, with some getting multiple chapters, and others just a few sentences.

* ''Status:'' Complete
* '''Summary:''' Set in an Alternate Universe where a different President than Snow is in power during the 60’s, and tries to use the Hunger Games and the tributes to really get out to the people and enact change, even as assassins lurk in the background. The story gives as much focus as possible to each of the 24 tributes, to keep it from being obvious who will win.
* '''Comments:''' Overall, there’s not to much novel about the ‘’premise’’, just another example of a story following 24 kids, 23 of them doomed (as well as the aftermath of the games), but there’s a real strength to the characters that added to the stories popularity. The timeline changes aren't terribly substantial, in the end: the games continue, Snow takes power and the story's ending is faithful to the original timeline from the books. * ''Summary'': Many tributes die in the Bloodbath. The 74th games was no exception. But what if something changed. What if, during the Bloodbath, Cato had been looking away when the young District 4 male ran from the Cornucopia? Alive and with the odds stacked against him, this is Urchin's story and how his survival changed all that we knew. Part of The Nameless Chronicles.
* ''Comments'' : A really well-written story, and a good start of the author's Chronicles series of Hunger Games fics. Having written other works under his belt, the author can really write action scenes well, with some good tug at your heartstrings moments, as well.

* Status: Ongoing.
* Synopsis: Explicitly described as Kiliflower's replication of the Victors Project, featuring their own head-cannon about Panem and its power plays, as well as the trials and triumphs of the victors inside and outside of the arena. The story (so far) gives a deeper, more philosophical angle to the lives of the victors. The story is interesting due to the author having written over 2/3rds of a similar story, then deleted it due to feeling it wasn't good enough (it was well-read and appreciate, but perhaps less deep) then starting over from scratch, with a largely new cast of victors.

Caisha, who has proven to be an outstanding HG fan fic author, does Foxface (here named Lysandra) justice in this excellent POV story. * ''Comments'': Oisin55 puts a lot of variety within this formula: varying the focus (Game description, pre-Game, post-Game, essay, even statistics), the mood ( farcical, black-comic, heartwarming, horrific), the setting (we learn about each District in Panem). He ties up loose ends from the movies and books, identifying the murdered old man of District 11 or the training film that Katniss was watching on the train. The last chapter, devoted to Katniss, is an amazingly good imitation of Collins' style. Note that it expects the reader to be familiar with the original books.

* Synopsis: The seeds of rebellion already sown in Panem, Katniss and Peeta may hold the key to finding help from the remnant of a long-dead civilization.
* Comments: Based on the idea that the apocalypse that created Panem was the result of Earth being attacked by the Lucian Alliance, Katniss and Peeta are 'abducted' during their Victory Tour by a group of people who have kept hold of the communication stones ever since the destruction of the original SGC. With ''Destiny'' having been left drifting for centuries due to a power problem, they are thus able to make contact with the original crew just as they come out of stasis, leading to Katniss joining a team that escapes Earth through the retrieved Stargate to find answers as to what happened in the last few centuries, culminating in [[spoiler:humanity recovering the long-hidden ''Odyssey'' and the clan of Rya'c aiding in the liberation of Earth while Katniss joins the ''Destiny'' crew]].

* Comments: Zulera is an author that has written an ongoing extensive collection of character-centric Hunger Games stories that do a great job at developing characters (OC or otherwise) and realistically portraying mental issues that victors suffer from, such as PTSD or depression. All of their Hunger Games stories are connected and based off of a slight AU, and there's even a (currently ongoing) series of oneshots that summarize how each victor won their respective games.
