The OC is beautifully fleshed out, and I ended up liking her more than I usually like [=OCs=]. Not a Mary Sue, and very funny and a good counterpart to the other main characters. The light-hearted banter and outrageously funny, impossible situations is what makes this fic worth reading. You can see the resolution coming a mile away, but the journey is definitely the best part. Sirius is characterized as atrocious and brash (the fic opens with him snogging a girl in a broom-closet, a girl whose name he just can't remember), the OC (his love interest) is definitely more of the same, and the other Marauders are hovering about in the background like so much flotsam and jetsam to their antics. However, there is enough emotional angst and growing pain to temper the more ridiculous aspects. I ended up amused and sometimes laughed outright.
