** In the last chapter of ''Heart Bound'' during the fight with Hauke and his men, Stoick suspects more happened in Myrkr than what Hiccup has told him when Hiccup's face is filled with pure hate and makes no effort to stop Toothless from killing Hauke despite Hauke's pleas for mercy.

This or these examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected, or something is just an innate aspect of the setting or character that has a logical reason for being present); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** In Arc 1 of ''This is Berk'', some of the dragons that used to belong to Drago Bludvist aren't trusting of humans after the abuse they went through and have no reason to expect Hiccup to be different than Drago.
** In the beginning of Arc 2 in ''This is Berk'', Hiccup realizes that because he hasn't been helping Gobber in the forge due to him always exploring and/or rescuing Dragons for more then a few years, his only source of income has been his allowance from his father and he has been spending money more then saving it and thus doesn't have enough money to prove to Astrid's parents he can support her as per tradition. Fortunately Toothless reminds him of Hamish's Lost Treasure. [[note]]Hamish's Lost Treasure is a bit of ForgottenPhlebotinum from the first season of [[WesternAnimation/DragonsRidersOfBerk Dreamworks Dragons]] that could have come in handy in a later season.[[/note]]
** In ''Skin and Bones'', Hiccup tells Toothless that as much as trusts Toothless, he can't accuse [[spoiler:Harald and his crew]] of being dragon hunters without having more proof than Toothless getting 'bad vibes' from them.
