It's a {{crossover}} and clever blending of the ''HarryPotter'' and ''AxisPowersHetalia'' universes and expands it outwards, looking at Wizarding Italy with a SceneryPorn description of Wizarding Venice and several cleverly written and guaranteed to make you love them [=OCs=].

* SceneryPorn: The description of Wizarding Venice is the main one, but the Author's amazing descriptions could make almost anything come under this.

* TheBechdelTest: Passes, pretty much, even though most of the time there's only one girl on screen (most commonly Ellie) when two or more girls do interact, it rarely, if ever, is about boys - though that may have to do with the fact that the boys are ''right there'', who knows what they talk about behind closed doors...

** Also [[spoiler:the fights that France sets up]] have several wince worthy injuries, dramatic enough that a chapter ends on one.
