The ''Randomverse'' series restarts the ''WesternAnimation/TotalDrama'' series from season one, ''Total Drama Island'', and randomizes the competitors (as well as 16 original characters created by the author from another fanfic of theirs, ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12393418/1/Total-Drama-Danger-Island Total Drama Danger Island]]'') around to different introductory seasons to make a whole new story. With new casts come new plots to follow, new friendships to emerge, and new alliances.

** Heather, Mike, Lightning, and Geoff all still become finalists, with Lightning's finale appearance still being in his canon season

** Scott's strategy for season 9 (crafted from watching past episodes) is inspired by his scrapped plot for canon ''All-Stars''.

** ''Redemption'' features the former All-Stars checking up on the eliminated contestants upon landing at the Playa de Losers. So far, the order goes Lightning, Justin and Cody.

** In "Crouching Heather, Hidden Victor", Kistune says she'll turn Heather into a regular [[WesternAnimation/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil Mackie Hand]].

* ImaginaryLoveTriangle: In ''World Tour'', after Scarlett befriends Victor, Sky mistakes it for Scarlett having an attraction towards Victor and begins to act rudely towards her, even with Scarlett outright tells her that she has no idea what Sky is talking about.

** ''Redemption'' features the former All-Stars checking up on the eliminated contestants upon landing at the Playa de Losers. The order goes:
*** Lightning for Gary.
*** Justin for Anne Maria.

* DeadFic: The series came to a halt on March 5, 2021 with both ''Ridonculous Race'' and ''Redemption'' left incomplete.

** Sammy ''was'' this, with almost everyone calling her Samey. However, once everyone bonds with her and she makes it clear how much she hates it, everyone switches to her real name, with only Chris and Amy continuing to use Samey.

* BastardBoyfriend: [[spoiler:Keith, Sky's boyfriend back home, is revealed to be a complete {{Jerkass}} who tells her that she should just give up on her Olympic dreams. It's implied that the reason Sky fell for Victor was because of how polite and nice he is to her.]]

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: After all the crimes he committed throughout ''All-Stars'', ''Pahkitew Island'', and ''All-Stars 2'', Matthew gets arrested following his defeat.

*** ''Action'': DJ, Duncan, Gwen, Harold, Heather, Leshawna, and Trent all still compete.

* AscendedExtra: Olivia, Mitch, Terrance and Rebecca compared to the original ''Danger Island'':
** In the original, Olivia's attitude resulted in her being eliminated first. Here, she becomes [[spoiler: the season's BigBad and lasts all the way to 3rd.]]
** Terrance was the last pre-merge boot; here he ends up being [[spoiler: the runner-up.]]
** Mitch was originally the first post-merge boot but [[spoiler: ranks 4th]] here.
** Rebecca lasted up to 7th but here, she became the [[spoiler: season's winner]].
