Harry Potter is now a century and a half old. All of his friends and his wife are already dead, and he is looking forward to the next great adventure.

When he dies, though, Death herself (quite the nice lass) asks Harry if he can do one favor to her: go to a land where a civil war is imminent, but the worst is yet to come. Harry, who even after so long in his life, is still the hero he's always been, agrees to help, and neither his wife Ginny Weasley nor his friends Hermione and Ron are willing to let him go alone.

Thus, the four wizards and witches find themselves reincarnated in their eleven year old bodies, in the middle of a placed called "the Neck".
