* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: Anne and her friends get into a lot of shenanigans either by accident or due to their actions:
** In chapter Cane Crazy, Sasha starts a mocking wave towards Hop Pop’s terrible cooking.
** In a flashback of the chapter Magic and Swords, Sasha manages to defeat Amelia in a sparring match by tripping her and making her fall on Maggie.
** In the chapter Flood, Sweat and Tears, the children go through a series of wacky issues of relocation after the basement is flooded. Anne and Sprig can stand each other’s antics every night. Sasha and Amelia fight constantly to get more space to sleep. Jacob and James find it difficult to sleep in their chosen places. And Marcy spends all her time trying to find a way to fix the issue with less-than-stellar results.
** In the chapter Snail Theft Auto – The Ballad of Reckless Anne, Jacob calls Sasha Pimplezilla due to her severe pimple problem. Marcy tries to make him and the others stop teasing about it failing horrendously:
-->'''Marcy''' “Would you guys knock it off? When you magnify something a few thousand times, of course it ends up looking hideous and disgusting. Hideously and disgustingly beautiful, that is.”
*** In the same chapter, Anne is horrified that she has to read a thicker-than-a-brick book detailing Bessie’s story to drive her and is much more horrified when Marcy tells her there are only diagrams.
*** Jacob gets lost looking for wood Loggle needs so he can build him a skateboard and then gets annoyed that Loggle’s notes don’t have any instructions on how to return to the town. He scolds Marcy for adventuring through the forest alone despite knowing how clumsy she is but when Marcy finds out he is doing the same thing he goes: “Touché”. Then both find out none of them know how to return to Wartwood. Much later, when Marcy tells him that she had drawn a map of Wartwood and the farm’s surroundings, he asks for it; however:
-->'''Marcy''': “Huh, the map is on my bed. Back at the farm.” [Jacob looks at her.] What? I was working on it last night!”
*** Anne, Sprig, Sasha, and Ivy prank Mrs. Croaker in a road rage prompting her to do the same to Sprig and Ivy by wasting their time when they were trying to look for help as their snails become unresponsive.
*** Jacob ironically summons Anne and Sasha riding on their snails when he says: “Do you expect for a miracle to jump in running and get out of this forest?”
*** At the end of the chapter, Hop Pop tells the children that they are ready to drive Bessie now that they have read the book only to be answered with all of them laughing to the point that it disturbs him and prompts him to lock the basement’s door.
** In the chapter Dating Season, Sasha realizes that her jealousy-filled vengeance didn’t work as she has genuinely been enjoying Ivy’s company and friendship over time instead of just using her to spite Sprig for “stealing Anne away from her”.
*** In the same chapter, both Amelia and Polly snap at Anne, Sasha, Felicia, and Hop Pop for taking the matchmaking too far:
-->'''Polly and Amelia''': “Enough! This is all your faults!”
-->'''Hop Pop''': “Say what?”
-->'''Sasha''': “Hah, you just delivered the perfect sitcom catchphrase!”
-->'''Amelia''': “Can it, Sash! You two are the reason we're here marinating and awaiting to be eaten by large monstrous birds, because you had to play matchmaker. Hop Pop, Felicia, not one of you was thinking of Sprig or Ivy’s happiness: you two were just greedy, using something that wasn’t even true in order to push your own personal agenda!”
-->'''Hop Pop''': “Maybe … a little?”
-->'''Felicia''': “It's nuanced.”
-->'''Anne''': “Nice. Totally innocent for once.”
-->'''Sasha''': “Amelia is right: you two should be ashamed.”
-->'''Polly''': “Are you two kidding? Sprig and Ivy went through with this only because of your insane desire to see them together, no matter what, and these dumb magazines!”
** In the chapter Camping, Jealousy and Gunpowder, Amelia’s start as a “sensei” for Maddie’s sisters find difficulties because the triplets are too energetic to even listen to her.
*** Anne goes through a lot of painful shenanigans trying to prove to the Plantars and James she is great at camping despite all the evidence saying otherwise.
*** Jacob, with Marcy and Maddie’s help, tries to recreate gunpowder for the town’s defense only to have each attempt exploding in his face and diminishing Maddie’s supply of mortars.
** In chapter Wyndigite, Jacob’s statement that Hop Pop had given them the day off tomorrow is comically erased when the old farmer goes back on his promise for the sake of his crops much to the disappointment of the children.
*** Ironically, Marcy’s inventions that are supposed to make farming easier become additional work when Hop Pop mentions that the family has to take care of them during Grace Rain.
*** Jacob reveals that Amelia had used an inhaler to hide the test solutions much to her anger.
*** Funnily enough, Amelia goes back on her word that it’s wrong to lie and use tricks to escape farming chores and even brings some excuses.
-->'''Amelia''': “Pass it to me, after you're done,"
-->'''Jacob''': “Amelia, do you also want to pretend to be sick? Didn't you say it was dishonorable and wrong, just yesterday?"
-->'''Amelia''': "Yesterday was yesterday, today is another day. And I don't want to catch another cold!"
*** When Jacob complains that the girls are allowed to make loud parties but his experiments are forbidden, it starts a funny argument with James:
-->'''James''': “Jacob, you were planning to make gunpowder.”
-->'''Jacob''': “So? I have the ingredients now, and Marcy taught me the process.”
-->'''James''': “She also told us about the explosions you caused on your first attempts.”
*** When Anne starts to freak out with the idea of dying after being told about the horrible sickness she and the other children has, Polly corrects her by saying that they will just turn into voracious, killing beasts earning a scold from Ivy and Maddie.
*** During the dramatic conversation between the Plantars, Ivy, Maddie, and the ‘infected’ human children, Polly brings a disturbing fact unnecessarily:
-->'''Hop Pop''': “Not much. If you have something you want to say, I suggest you to hurry.”
-->'''Polly''': “And then we’ll burn the tree down with you, to avoid the infection.”
-->'''Sprig, Ivy and Maddie''': “Polly!”
*** The human children confess some funny shenanigans that they had kept hidden:
-->'''Amelia''': “Sasha, before we go, I want to tell you…I’m sorry for misplacing your favorite hairpin, last month.”
-->'''Sasha''': “That was you? Well, I guess it doesn’t matter anymore.”
-->'''James''': “I’m the one who always steals the last chocopede,”
-->'''Jacob''': “I play pranks at school because I like the attention! Most of the things I do is to get attention from others!”
*** When Ivy asks Maddie where her father got the book about illnesses to find out why Anne and the others hadn’t turned into Wyndigite yet, Ivy finds out seconds later that it came from Swindtog’s store:
-->'''James''': “Swindtog?! But the books he sells are garbage! He either blatantly copies from other authors, or makes stuff up!”
*** The human children find out that the reason for the abnormal color of their eyes and tongues it’s because James and Jacob used detergent-like mushrooms in the soup without knowing.
*** Sasha lets out a frustration-filled profanity when she is told that they have to wait 16 hours to call for a blacksmith to unchain them because Jacob ate the key.
** In the chapter Family Shrub, Hop Pop describes to Anne and her friends some Plantar ancestors getting unenthusiastic, annoyed responses:
-->'''Hop Pop''': “Oh, yes, Great Aunt Gertrude! She was a masterful dirt tiller. I mean, how cool is that?”
-->'''Anne''': “Another farmer, hooray”
-->'''Hop Pop''': “Oh, and you can't forget second cousin Alfred. He was the king!”
-->'''Everyone''': “A king?”
-->'''James''': “You serious Hop-Pop? A true kingly King? As if the Plantar are secretly a prestigious family of monarchs?”
-->'''Hop Pop''': “No, James. But he was absolutely the king of single-tiered irrigation systems.”
-->'''Polly''': “Our ancestors were boring!”
*** When Marcy mentions her game player username, Kitty-The-D35tr0y3r, Jacob wonders how was she able to pronounce a name with numbers used as letters and then gets more confused as to how he could understand what she said.
*** Before leaving to buy more glue, Hop Pop orders the kids to not do anything weird or ‘funny’, funnily mentioning Jacob’s last disaster, burning Bessie’s stable again, much to his annoyance.
*** Marcy reveals having discovered one night the secret Plantar’s tunnels due to her clumsiness, earning different reactions from her friends:
-->'''Sasha''': “What.”
-->'''Jacob''': “Marbles! Do you realize what this is?”
-->'''James''': “Huh, a dark, creepy secret passage hidden behind a fireplace?”
-->'''Jacob''': “No, James! Marcy, what you’ve found…it’s a dungeon!”
-->'''Marcy''': “A dungeon? You mean we can now play Creatures and Caverns…in real life?”
-->'''Jacob''': “Yes! Wait for me! I’m going to get my adventurer kit and weapon!”
*** Jacob explains the Golden rule of dungeon-exploring to Amelia getting the wrong answer from Marcy:
-->'''Jacob''': "Marcy, help me, please. Do you remember what the golden rule of dungeon-crawling is?”
-->'''Marcy''': “Never open a chest before checking if it’s not a disguised Mimic?”
-->'''Jacob''': “The other Golden rule.”
-->'''Marcy''': “Ah, never split the party.”
*** In a hilarious irony, Jacob forgets to check if he is being followed by the rest of the group as he explains why sticking together in the tunnels is important and finds out later that he has gotten lost.
*** In his curiosity, Sprig pulls a lever recklessly, altering Aunt Gertrude’s room and freaking James out.
*** Polly attacks Emeline’s manners-test statue wasting one of the three tries she, Anne, and Amelia have to pass the test and get out of the room.
*** Amelia passes the manners test for the three of them, if barely, something she explains pretty annoyed.
*** Sprig once again pulls another lever, this time in Great Uncle Skip Plantar’s room, letting Pepo, a giant abominable pumpkin, out.
*** Sprig deceives Pepo with some kind gestures and then puts him back in his cage. He thinks Pepo will understand but James thinks otherwise:
-->'''James''': “Or it will try to devour you for betraying it in the first place.”
*** Sprig makes the same mistake again of pulling a lever without thinking when everyone reunites in Polliana’s room, activating the defenses of the place.
*** Polly, Sasha, and Jacob go berserk in Polliana’s training defenses after the simulator is put in level 3.
*** Anne, James, Marcy, and Sprig push the rest of the team out of Polliana’s room when their friends want to try the simulator on a higher level.
*** In Emma’s puzzle-game room, Marcy and Anne are going to start the death round level to get everyone out only for a rock to fall on Marcy’s head, leaving her unconscious.
*** Sprig tries to be encouraging to Anne while she plays the death round with a poor attempt:
-->'''Sprig''': “Anne, no pressure, but we're going to die.”
*** Just when Sprig is going to repeat the pulling-lever mistake, Sasha and the others stop him.
*** After being told about the secret family tunnels, Hop Pop goes to give them a try with an unwilling Loggle who is glued to his back.

** In “Cane Crazy”, the kids manage to kill the large stick insect disguised as “the Doom tree” and they try to sell its wood to Loggle. The next day, they try to sell it, only for Loggle to point out that with the mountain’s pass blocked and all traffic from and to the Valley interrupted, he has no one to sell it back, and thus, he can’t afford to pay for it in coins.
** Due to the group sending Amelia back home with the ingredients before going for the tomatoes, thanks to Hop Pop’s informing them of their risky nature, the group is able to produce the pizza and present it to the Pot luck. -->'''Hop Pop''': “No, James. But he was absolutely the king of single-tiered irrigation systems.”
-->'''Polly''': “Our ancestors were boring!”
-->'''Sasha''': “What.”
-->'''Jacob''': “Marbles! Do you realize what this is?”
-->'''James''': “Huh, a dark, creepy secret passage hidden behind a fireplace?”
-->'''Jacob''': “No, James! Marcy, what you’ve found…it’s a dungeon!”
-->'''Jacob''': “The other Golden rule.”
***Sprig tries to be encouraging to Anne while she plays the death round with a poor attempt:
-->'''Sprig''': “Anne, no pressure, but we're going to die.”
*** Just when Sprig is going to repeat the pulling-lever mistake, Sasha and the others stop him.
*** After being told about the secret family tunnels, Hop Pop goes to give them a try with an unwilling Loggle who is glued to his back.

**In chapter Wyndigite, Jacob’s statement that Hop Pop had given them the day off tomorrow is comically erased when the old farmer goes back on his promise for the sake of his crops much to the disappointment of the children.
***Ironically, Marcy’s inventions that are supposed to make farming easier become additional work when Hop Pop mentions that the family has to take care of them during Grace Rain.
***Jacob reveals that Amelia had used an inhaler to hide the test solutions much to her anger.
***Funnily enough, Amelia goes back on her word that it’s wrong to lie and use tricks to escape farming chores and even brings some excuses.
-->'''Amelia''': “Pass it to me, after you're done,"
-->'''Jacob''': “Amelia, do you also want to pretend to be sick? Didn't you say it was dishonorable and wrong, just yesterday?"

-->'''James''': “Jacob, you were planning to make gunpowder.”
-->'''Jacob''': “So? I have the ingredients now, and Marcy taught me the process.”
-->'''James''': “She also told us about the explosions you caused on your first attempts.”
***When Anne starts to freak out with the idea of dying after being told about the horrible sickness she and the other children has, Polly corrects her by saying that they will just turn into voracious, killing beasts earning a scold from Ivy and Maddie.
***During the dramatic conversation between the Plantars, Ivy, Maddie, and the ‘infected’ human children, Polly brings a disturbing fact unnecessarily:
-->'''Hop Pop''': “Not much,” The old frog quietly said, trying to suppress his pain, “If you have something you want to say, I suggest you to hurry.”
-->'''Polly''': “And then we’ll burn the tree down with you, to avoid the infection.”
-->'''Sprig, Ivy and Maddie''': “Polly!” Sprig, Ivy and Maddie called out at the same time.
***The human children confess some funny shenanigans that they had kept hidden:
-->'''Amelia''': “Sasha, before we go, I want to tell you…I’m sorry for misplacing your favorite hairpin, last month.”
-->'''Sasha''': “That was you? Well, I guess it doesn’t matter anymore.”

***When Ivy asks Maddie where her father got the book about illnesses to find out why Anne and the others hadn’t turned into Wyndigite yet, Ivy finds out seconds later that it came from Swindtog’s store:
-->'''James''': “Swindtog?! But the books he sells are garbage! He either blatantly copies from other authors, or makes stuff up!”
***The human children find out that the reason for the abnormal color of their eyes and tongues it’s because James and Jacob used detergent-like mushrooms in the soup without knowing.
***Sasha lets out a frustration-filled profanity when she is told that they have to wait 16 hours to call for a blacksmith to unchain them because Jacob ate the key.

* AdoptionAngst: Even when Hop Pop willingly adopted Anne and her friends, in chapter 35 he betrays them by trying to bury the box in hopes to keep Sprig and Polly safe from it. That makes the betrayal more heartbreaking because with his actions Hop Pop implied that his biological grandchildren were more important than his adopted children.
* AdviceBackfire: According to Amelia, Anne had advised that someone had to take care of the box at least one day of the week and interpreted it as if everyone should take turns to do it. However, what Anne meant was that the six of them should keep watch on the item as much as possible, any day. Much worse is that [[CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot Amelia didn’t even tell her friends she had the box before leaving for work which made them believe it went missing and drove them into a panic.]]

Added DiffLines:

**The encounter with the Moss Man happens much earlier in the chapter Girl Time, revealing Leif’s name 2 seasons earlier and prompting Amelia to look for clues about her to help the mystical creature.
** Due to landing in Wartwood instead of close to Toad Tower, Sasha’s redemption arc starts 2 seasons earlier but [[spoiler: someone much worse, Aiden, takes care of the training of the toads and becomes Grime’s Lieutenant.]]
**Hop Pop’s plan to bury the Box in chapter 35 never reaches fruition as Sasha catches him in Fraganti and this prompts him to explain his reasons 1 season earlier. More importantly, his reveal that he had a book with information about the box impulses the children to decipher the ancient language in the book.
* FunnyMoments: Anne and her friends get into a lot of shenanigans either by accident or due to their actions:
**In chapter Cane Crazy, Sasha starts a mocking wave towards Hop Pop’s terrible cooking.
**In a flashback of the chapter Magic and Swords, Sasha manages to defeat Amelia in a sparring match by tripping her and making her fall on Maggie.
**In the chapter Flood, Sweat and Tears, the children go through a series of wacky issues of relocation after the basement is flooded. Anne and Sprig can stand each other’s antics every night. Sasha and Amelia fight constantly to get more space to sleep. Jacob and James find it difficult to sleep in their chosen places. And Marcy spends all her time trying to find a way to fix the issue with less-than-stellar results.
**In the chapter Snail Theft Auto – The Ballad of Reckless Anne, Jacob calls Sasha Pimplezilla due to her severe pimple problem. Marcy tries to make him and the others stop teasing about it failing horrendously:
-->'''Marcy''' “Would you guys knock it off? When you magnify something a few thousand times, of course it ends up looking hideous and disgusting. Hideously and disgustingly beautiful, that is.”
***In the same chapter, Anne is horrified that she has to read a thicker-than-a-brick book detailing Bessie’s story to drive her and is much more horrified when Marcy tells her there are only diagrams.
***Jacob gets lost looking for wood Loggle needs so he can build him a skateboard and then gets annoyed that Loggle’s notes don’t have any instructions on how to return to the town.
Back at the farm.” [Jacob looked at her.] What? I was working on it last night!”
***Anne, Sprig, Sasha, and Ivy prank Mrs. Croaker in a road rage prompting her to do the same to Sprig and Ivy by wasting their time when they were trying to look for help as their snails become unresponsive.
***Jacob ironically summons Anne and Sasha riding on their snails when he says: “Do you expect for a miracle to jump in running and get out of this forest?”
***At the end of the chapter, Hop Pop tells the children that they are ready to drive Bessie now that they have read the book only to be answered with all of them laughing to the point that it disturbs him and prompts him to lock the basement’s door.
**In the chapter Dating Season, Sasha realizes that her jealousy-filled vengeance didn’t work as she has genuinely been enjoying Ivy’s company and friendship over time instead of just using her to spite Sprig for “stealing Anne away from her”.
***In the same chapter, both Amelia and Polly snap at Anne, Sasha, Felicia, and Hop Pop for taking the matchmaking too far:
-->'''Polly and Amelia''': “Enough! This is all your faults!”
-->'''Hop Pop''': “Say what?”
-->'''Hop Pop''': “Maybe … a little?”
-->'''Felicia''': “It's nuanced.”
**In the chapter Camping, Jealousy and Gunpowder, Amelia’s start as a “sensei” for Maddie’s sisters find difficulties because the triplets are too energetic to even listen to her.
***Anne goes through a lot of painful shenanigans trying to prove to the Plantars and James she is great at camping despite all the evidence saying otherwise.
***Jacob, with Marcy and Maddie’s help, tries to recreate gunpowder for the town’s defense only to have each attempt exploding in his face and diminishing Maddie’s supply of mortars.

The irony keeps evolving in chapter 18 when Sasha defends Ivy from Felicia’s favoritism and harsh strictness, something she wished Esther had done for her at home, and in chapter 30, Sasha makes the transformation official by vowing to Ivy to be the best older sister for her.

Added DiffLines:

* PerspectiveFlip: Sasha forces Hop Pop to see how his actions might’ve hurt more than the children if he had hidden the box in the next hypothetical situation:
-->'''Sasha''': “Let’s make a hypothesis: what if, the day the Herons attacked Wartwood for the first time, Sprig and Polly’s parents hadn’t been killed by them? Rather, what if unbeknownst to all of us, they ended up in some different world, by accident? Let’s assume they ended up in a different world, populated by creatures different from the ones you’re used to. Maybe they were lucky enough to find nice people that took them under their wings, protected them, and helped them orientate themselves in their new reality. Maybe they even became close friends, but nothing, no matter what, no matter how, could make them forget the world they left behind…and the children they loved so much. So, obliviously, they tried to find a way back to their world and maybe found one, the only way possible they had to return to Amphibia, to Wartwood and their children. But they couldn’t return, because someone ended up, no matter for what reason, destroying their only hope of return. No matter how benign their intent was, that means that Sprig and Polly’s parents are now forever trapped in another world, with no way to return or see their children ever again, all because of someone’s action. Tell me, Hop Pop. If this is what happened, and you could know it, would you forgive the person who ended up trapping them in their world? What amount of logic and reason will be enough to forgive the one who’s ripping them from their children forever? Answer honestly, Hop Pop.
-->'''Hop Pop''': “None. No matter what reason they had, I’d never forgive them for taking my daughter from me.”

* ABirthdayNotABreak: More like the inverse of it. Instead of a character remembering that today is their birthday after a horrible event happens, the character, in this case, Anne, the main protagonist, is aware of her birthday and has a relatively good time until Sasha stops her from going home and forces her to steal the Music Box which transports her and her friends, and Jacob, Amelia, and James to Amphibia.
* A Boy And His X: Besides Anne developing a strong friendship with Sprig as canon, both Sasha and Marcy make friends in Ivy and Maddie respectively, the bond between them growing so strong that the frogs consider the girls their “surrogate big sisters”.
** This can be applied to other humans as well, as Amelia takes Maddie’s triplet sisters under her wing, while Jacob and James develop good relations with Loggle and Mrs. Croaker.

Added DiffLines:

**Since all the humans ended up in Wartwood, both Sasha and Marcy undergo proper character development and growth as the series progresses, progressively healing from their own issues and repairing their friendship from its most toxic features two seasons early.
** Besides Anne learning how friends should act with each other and being more confident in herself through her friendship with Sprig (as canon), she heals her friendship with Sasha after she ends up revealing the backstory and reasons for her control freak behavior.
-->'''Sasha''': “Anne, (…) I want to tell you, one of the reasons I was so controlling of you back home, was that I secretly envied your happy family life. Your parents…they were such good people, and even if we didn’t know each other well, I had no right to pressure you into doing things you didn’t like. Especially skipping your birthday party at home.”
** On chapter 29, Anne’s long-repressed frustration due to Sasha’s control freak tendencies end up bringing the two girls into a duel clearly reminding of their two canon ones, with Anne herself later being horrified by her own actions and by how close she came to seriously wound Sasha. Not only that, but Anne’s previous decision to skip her watch duties to talk with Sasha led to the Herons attacking Wartwood with almost no warning, almost resulting in Sprig and Polly’s death.
** While in canon Sasha was the one who took the longest to adapt to Amphibia, here her harsh demeanor and bitter personality mellows down through the early part of Season 1 thanks to her friendship with Ivy and being “adopted” by Felicia and Sylvia as well. Her redemption arc thus gets fulfilled by mid-Season 1 rather than Season 3 as canon:
-->'''Sasha''': “No, Anne. What happened, it’s my fault. It was me that had been a jerk to you, Marcy, and everyone else! It was I that always forced you two to do what I wanted, rather that decide together, it was me that acted like a total control freak! The one who emotionally blackmailed you, the one that threatened you, bossed you around, and stomped out every disagreement. You gave me your friendship, and I poisoned it with my toxic behavior and personality because I needed to feel in control. How-how could I have taken something as beautiful as our friendship and corrupt it in such a twisted way?”
-->'''Marcy''': “Sasha-”
-->'''Sasha''': “I…I apologize girls. I know that after today you probably won’t want to be my friends anymore, but-”
-->'''Anne''': “Sasha, what you did wasn’t good. Yet, I would never want to lose you. This is what friends are for, no?”
-->'''Sasha''': “Anne-”
-->'''Marcy''': “I don’t want to lose you either, Sash.”
-->'''Ivy''': “You’re my cool older sister. No way are we letting you go!”
-->'''Sylvia''': “You’re a Sundew, Sash, and Sundews never give up!”
-->'''Polly''': “You saved our lives!”
-->'''Sasha''': “Guys, I…I really don’t deserve your forgiveness. I know I was a very toxic friend, but…this ends now. From now on, I’ll be the friend you deserve.”
-->'''Anne''': “Sasha…”
-->'''Sasha''': “I’m me, Boonchuy, and I can never be you, no matter how hard I try, I can only be me. But from today forward… I’ll be the best version of myself!”
** Sometimes, however, she ends up taking her vow too far, still struggling against her sadness and self-loathing:
-->'''Anne''': “Sasha, you said you were going to be the best version of yourself, not that you would have to suffer for us. And I don’t think I want you to freeze-”
And during their little adventure with Wally, Sasha lets out her depressive thoughts and regrets that border on suicidal thoughts with her heartbreaking phrase from Reunion: ‘Maybe you would be better off without me’. However, her friends and Wally comfort her and the frog hillbilly encourages her to learn from the past instead of letting it hold her back:
-->'''Wally''': “Your friends haven’t forgotten your actions, but neither have forgotten your desire to improve, nor your promise to become better. They trust you, they want you, and they already forgiven you. Now you must forgive yourself, Sasha. You can’t go forward without looking back at your past, that’s true, but you cannot even let your past control you.”
-->'''Sasha''': “You-you really think I can do that?”
-->'''Wally''': “You have people that love you and trust you, a determination strong as steel, you have brain and beauty and everything else, you have everything you could ever need to reach whatever you want. The only question you have to ask yourself is: am I willing to do it? No matter how harsh and long the path may be, no matter what problem and issue I might face? You may be hurt on the road, again and again, but pain is temporary. Quitting is forever.”
-->'''Anne''': “We’re never letting you go, Sash.”
-->'''Jacob''': “No matter how you think we should do it.”
-->'''James''': “You were with us at the beginning, and you will be with us till the end.”

By chapter 18, Ivy has grown to consider Sasha as her “adoptive older sister” with Felicia filling the position of a motherly substitute.

** After being hired as a regular by Maddie’s father, Marcy introduces him to more Earth recipes such as Scallion Pancakes and Xiao Long Bao. Likewise, Sasha imports the recipe of [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate_brownie Brownies]] into Amphibia, quickly becoming one of the most popular recipes at Felicia’s tea shop.
** In chapter 14, we can see some of the innovations and improvements Marcy introduced to the Plantar farm. They include, in order: an electrical fence (powered up by [[CallBack Zapapedes]]) to protect the crops; horns to care away invasive pests; greenhouses to keep the feeblest cultivations warm; a water channel system; weed-pullers; a magic super-fertilizer (implied to be the result of her lessons under Maddie); a wheeled plough and a self-refilling dip well.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Sasha’s distain for her older sister Esther derives from this, but it’s shown to generate more from [[ParentalAbandonment their parent’s vicious divorce]] and [[AbusiveParents her mother’s preferential treatment on her older sister]].

Added DiffLines:

*MundaneLuxury: One of the biggest benefit Sasha gets by working at Felicia’s tea shop, is the possibility to have regular hot showers thanks to the teashop owning a proper pedal-operated shower.

* SpringtimeforHitler: Jealous of the growing friendship between Anne and Sprig, Sasha decides to cozy up her relation with Ivy Sundew and pretend to be her best friend, in an attempt to make Anne jealous and “return the favor” to Sprig. Not only Sasha ends up growing close to Ivy ''for real'' (as well as enjoying working under Felicia [[MundaneLuxury and the various benefits of it]]) but when Anne, still feeling guilt for the events of “The Domino Effect” tries to apologize to Sash for her newly independent streak (what Sasha wanted to get with her aforementioned revenge plan), [[NiceJobFixingItVillain Sasha shut her down without even letting her speak]].

** Due to the group sending Amelia back home with the ingredients before going for the tomatoes, due to Hop Pop’s informing them of their risky nature, the group is able to produce the pizza and present it to the Pot luck. They don’t win (thanks to Toadstool giving them a bad “presentation” rating) but the Plantars are happy at not having to spend the night in the “Shame Cage”. Later, Marcy and Jacob proposes the pizza recipe to Maddie’s family, who quickly reproduces it and sells it with great success.

''Our second chance is called Amphibia'' is a WhatIf AU for ''WesternAnimation/{{Amphibia}}'' by [[https://archiveofourown.org/users/TheItalianConstant/pseuds/TheItalianConstant TheItalianConstant]] where the Calamity Trio, instead of being scattered all across Amphibia, find themselves together in Wartwood alongside three additional characters: Jacob, school troublemaker and old friend of the Trio; his cousin Amelia, a know-nothing know-it-all on Eastern culture, always wearing an Asian cone hat and a wooden training katana; and James, a British kind-hearted exchange-student with a passion for stargazing.

Far away from familiar places and forced to band together, the six humans will be forced to walk a path that will lead them to personal growth, healing and redemption.
