When she wakes up, she rushes to Lincoln's bedroom to make sure he's still there, and then breaks down sobbing while hugging him. Despite his current negative feelings towards his sisters, Lincoln comforts Lana, doesn't probe her about the details of the nightmare, and allows her to share his bed for the rest of the night. Before he leaves early for school the next morning, he leaves the still-sleeping a note telling her she can talk about it when she's ready.

The only reason they aren't in jail right now is because the only ones outside of the family who know about the incident were asked not to call the police by the victim of it.
