The footage being used has the dummy (with Cassie's altered voice) tell that a key to the leg cuffs on both Kano and Darren's ankles is hidden inside Jarek's sutured body, but the warehouse they're in is rigged to explode in four minutes. The key is also brittle enough to be used ONLY ONCE if it's found in time. Kano uses his knife to rip open the sutures on Jarek (his best friend and one-time heir apparent to the Black Dragon) then use the key on himself, leaving Darren to die in the explosion. Kitana found out about the crime and proceeded to beat Reiko seven shades of blue. [[KarmaHoudini Kitana escaped punishment for bearing down Reiko]], [[EvenEvilHasStandards as Kahn himself detests rapists]], and Reiko loses Kahn's respect. Unfortunately, this leads to Reiko being swayed by Havik.
