* AscendedExtra: Jessica in the original series was a very minor character who was occasionally playable in a few sidequests. Here, she's the main character who ends up joining the New Class VII.

* WiseBeyondTheirYears: Jessica’s maturity makes it much easier for her to be calm in aggravating situations such as ones like the dysfunctional-at-times NC 7’s exercises, and point out to others their issues when they hide from them out of embarrassment and shame, helping them to overcome them. This leads to her being seen as a leader and organizer of sorts for the rest of NC 7, who are not as mature as her and cannot handle emotionally compromising situations as well. However at the same time because her maturity is that of an adult and not a child, she focuses too much on duty and work to the detriment of her relationship with others sometimes. This is shown the worst when Alfin, one of Jessica’s closest friends, arrives in Crossbell on their field exercise and Jessica reveals that she hasn’t actually met up with her in a while or hung out. She explains that she had not hung out with Alfin for a while because she simply did not have the time between practicing her skills and learning how to fulfill her duties as a student and noble more efficiently, and she knew that Alfin would understand that it is normal for friends to be away from each other for long times in work environments. However, Juna calls her out for this and criticizes her for automatically thinking that Alfin would understand her idea of a work environment. In fact, considering that Alfin, unlike Jessica, is a child in mind and not just body, she most likely doesn’t understand that Jessica has duties of her own and values them the same as an adult would, and feels lonely and sad like any child that hasn’t seen their friends in a long time instead of understanding like an adult in a work environment would.

* WiseBeyondTheirYears: Jessica was reincarnated from an adult doctor into a young body. Even with the [[LossOfIdentity loss of identity]] as her old memories are forgotten and overwritten, she still has the maturity of an adult. This helps her and hinders her in different ways.

* AdaptationalDeviation: [[spoiler:Emperor Eugent getting shot goes much different here. Rather than being confronted and shot by Ash which he survives after a conversation with Osborne, he is shot in the head right in front of his daughter which is confirmed to be fatal.]]

** When the noblemen express doubts in lending their aid to the Weissland army, Aurelia states that she will be in charge of the army to convince them. Count Florald bluntly reminds her that her being in charge of the Noble Alliance did not prevent them from losing the CivilWar. He then outright tells Musse to her face that he does not trust her due to her manipulations and finds her claims of Osborne's plans (and her ability to counter them) to be tall tales, and is only willing to give her the time of day because of his trust in her grandfather.

* EasilyForgiven: [[spoiler: After Juna discovers the truth about what is going on in Crossbell and the resulting fallout after that, none of her friends and classmates hold slapping Jessica or yelling at them the night before against her. They knew of and witnessed her distress the entire time she was in her hometown and the recent revelations were essentially the last straw where she lashed out in frustration. On her end, once Juna calms down, she feels bad about hitting someone who had been forced to deal with her own trauma earlier when Campanella trapped Jessica in a force field with Ogre!Rean, who was essentially the former’s TraumaButton. She’s remorseful when her friends come to see her and try to cheer her up rather than go on their class assignments without her.]]

* ForWantOfANail: Shirley ends up captured as a prisoner at the Branch Campus at the end of her attempted sneak attack in canon. As a result, the rest of the Red Constellation gets called in by Ouroboros to assist and proceed to launch an attack on Saint Arkh to recover her.
* GenreSavvy: Zigzagged when it comes to Jessica. A lot of Jessica being able to predict what’s going to happen comes from tropes that she recognizes from her previous life. Especially ones that pertain to [=JRPGs=] such as harems, tsunderes, the boy who is likely the protagonist of the series. On the other hand, Jessica isn’t always right when making her assumptions. While she’s right that Rean is the protagonist during the events of I & II, during the events of the third game she thinks that Kurt is the new protagonist and Rean’s successor while the latter is taking a back seat in the events, not realizing that Rean is still the protagonist. [[spoiler: It doesn’t hurt that Kurt becomes the Awakener of El Prado instead of Rufus Albarea]]. She also initially assumed that Jessica in the original timeline a core member of the cast when in actuality she was a minor character who barely interacts with Rean outside of sidequests.

** Jessica having a panic attack after Campanella trapped her inside a barrier with Ogre!Rean shows just how much Rean’s more berserk side affects her even years after the fact.

* PretextForWar: [[spoiler:Along with the canon infiltration by 100 soldiers of the the Hercules squad, Robert's assisting the Garden in opening a HellGate in Valdrand is also pinned on Calvard. The latter going on to launch a successful assassination of Emperor Eugent(with Osborne and Rufus' assistance) results in war against Calvard being declared.]]

* RedBaron: It would not be the Legend of Heroes series without this. Jessica even notes how it seems to be a cultural custom to address people by their moniker whenever possible, which she thinks is cringy.

* TrueCompanions: The original members of the second Class VII become this after the events of Crossbell. And though the two of them transferred into their class later on, both Ash and Musse are slowly becoming this as well.
