** Brunhilde, one of Odin's elite adventurers and a member of his Valkyrie idol group, is described as an untouchable ideal of beauty, but is secretly coarse and downright masculine in private with a great deal of pride in humanity, matching the description of the Brunhilde as seen in ''Manga/ShuumatsuNoWalkureRecordOfRagnarok''. The other known Valkyries, Hrist and Hlokk, also match the Valkyries seen in that series, particularly with Hrist's kinship with Kojiro, as she became his Volund against Poseidon.

* HateAtFirstSight: Happens in Chapter 56 between Aiz and [[spoiler:[[Characters/FateGrandOrderAvengers Lobo]]]] due to noticing their similarities to one another and being enraged by this.
--> Their hatred met each other. The pain that gave birth to the desire of vengeance. The goal of one who lost everything to predators met the goal of one who lost everything to hunters. Like an abomination of a fusion, their hatred synced, increasing each other’s force on their host, like two opposite powers strengthening the other. Their teeth were bared as the two snarled. Their vision narrowed, focusing only on their kind. Wind burst out of the humanoid being, wind turning black with her hate, her promises forgotten in the haze of rage. The monster became visible, revealing its azure canine form, its fur and cloak fueled by vengeance and forming into tangible armor and formless blades, a form representing someone that long surrendered to the black inferno in its soul.\\
A human with monstrous power. A monster with human wisdom. Looking into the other’s being, they were offended by the hate they found. What right did the other have? No, it could not stand. Thus, they thought the same. Like soulmates, their muscles bulged, gathering energy before unleashing it in a single explosion together with their magic and furious, almost feral sounding screams.

* ExperiencePoints: Adventurers can gain excelia to increase their stats by performing various feats, such as improving their strength by fighting in physical combat, their Agility by running around a lot, and their dexterity by polishing their skills. * AffectionateNickname:
** Oryou calls Haruhime "Haru", which shows that she cares deeply about her personally rather than through obligation.
** Brunhilde tells Bell to call him "Brun" because they're going to be {{best friend}}s. But this takes a somewhat sinister undertone as she tells him this while dragging him off to master his magic by making him use it over and over while forcing him to drink Mind Potions so he doesn't die.

* BeneathTheMask: Odin's Valkyries are popular {{Idol Singer}}s who capture the hearts of the people of Altena and beyond with their beauty, voices, and gentle personalities. Out of earshot, they're coarse, eager to beat the crap out of anyone who disturbs the peace, and sneer at those stupid enough to start a fuss at one of their concerts.

* ItGetsEasier: Defied. When Bell tells [[spoiler:Artoria]] he wishes the pain of killing and committing less than moral acts goes away, she tells him he shouldn't think like that. As by keeping the guilt he can still be 'human', with Bell ultimately coming to accept the burden of ItNeverGetsAnyEasier instead.

* JerkassGod: Susanoo, who'd like to see the Far East turned into something resembling Telskyura, an isolationist country where people fought and killed each other to produce the strongest warriors. Despite this, he too is a FatherToHisMen, which is why he hasn't escalated into outright CivilWar yet. There's also Tsukuyomi, whose obsession with order is so strong that she wants to get rid of Amaterasu, and by extension Oryou.
