** Also happens at the beginning of chapter 26, focusing again on the two married imps. As they plan to stay in the mortal realm with much time to spare, and before the story shifts to a different scene, the last thing Moxxie says is that [[spoiler: having Blitzo back]] makes him feel like nothing else could go wrong. There’s dramatic irony occurring at this point because the readers already get the feeling that something may go VERY wrong later in the story, based on the recent events that took place beforehand.
* HeartfeltApology: Stolas profusely does this [[spoiler: to Blitzo in chapter 19 as he breaks down, expressing so much remorse for how he treated his imp boyfriend, along with the consequences that came with it.]]

However, Millie gets her turn when she retaliates and chews Loona out for driving Blitzo away as well.

** Also happens at the beginning of chapter 26, focusing again on the two married imps. As they plan to stay in the mortal realm with much time to spare, and before the story changes to another scene, Moxxie said that [[spoiler: having Blitzo back]] makes him feel like nothing else could go wrong. There’s dramatic irony occurring at this point because the readers already get the feeling that something may go VERY wrong later in the story based on the recent events that took place beforehand.

* ManipulativeBastard: [[spoiler: Striker does this tactic as a way to earn Blitzo’s trust and persuade him to be on his side, merely taking advantage of the horse-loving imp’s amnesia state for his own unclear motives. (An AU where Blitzo runs away after [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Recap/HelluvaBossS1E7Ozzies Helluva Boss Season One, Episode 7]].)

* AmnesiaEpisode: This is now a major plot of the story, [[spoiler: beginning at chapter 10 with Blitzo appearing to have amnesia. Both Moxxie and Millie first thought that he was just messing around, before it finally sank in for them that their boss is actually suffering from this condition.]]
* BigDamnReunion: [[spoiler: Moxxie and Millie both get into a tearful three-way hug with Blitzo after Fizzarolli confirms that it’s actually him. ** [[spoiler: An awkward, yet wholesome reunion occurs when Stolas arrives at the I.M.P. office and sees his missing beloved Blitzo, much to his disbelief in chapter 17.]]
* BrokenTears: Many tears were shed across the majority of the Helluva Boss characters in this fic.

* DearJohnLetter: The I.M.P. crew reads a farewell letter that was tearfully written by Blitzo with heartbreaking words and bad spelling.
* DramaticIrony: When Moxxie and Millie were both gearing up in the mortal realm for their upcoming murder task, they discussed the matter of Loona and came to an assumption that she’s doing okay on her own for the time being. [[spoiler: This is dramatic irony here as the readers already know that Loona isn’t, because she is kidnapped in chapter 16, and the story cuts to an abandoned building where the hellhound receptionist is being held captive by Striker.]]
** Also happens at the beginning of chapter 26, focusing again on the two married imps. * HowWeGotHere: After revealing that it’s been a year since Blitzo has gone AWOL right after the Ozzie’s incident at the end of the first chapter, there are flashbacks/descriptions of the past shown in later chapters. They explain what happened right around the time Blitzo vanished one year ago and how these prior events all lead up to the present time of this story.
* ItsAllMyFault: Throughout the story, Moxxie, Millie, Loona, and Stolas all display their sorrows and regrets for causing Blitzo to leave. [[spoiler: And surprisingly enough, Blitzo’s bitter ex-girlfriend Verosika Mayday feels this way, too.]]
* JokeAndReceive: When Stolas discovered that Blitzo had fled, he assumed it to be just a practical joke that the I.M.P. crew were setting up for him. It was only later when the Goetia prince soon realized that it wasn’t at all, as Loona attacked him both physically and verbally.
* LeaveTheTwoLovebirdsAlone: [[spoiler: Blitzo and Stolas are given personal space and time for themselves so they can converse with each other privately and catch up with their relationship, as suggested by Moxxie while he and his wife would go get Loona and bring her over to the I.M.P. office.]]
